Petco Grooming

My Grandpup looks a mess!!! Granted he had a few matted areas which could have been cut low and brushed!!! He is a curly haired pup!! To shave him bald is awful, not to mention it’s a patchy bald!! It’s no way he was bathed either! When my son picked him up, they didn’t charge him. They also know he looks bad.

Cristol is absolutely amazing! I love how gentle she is with my Rhea. I searched high & low for a groomer that I could trust as well as achieve the cut that I was looking for and I definitely found all this & much more with Cristol. We moved from Grand Prairie to DeSoto & I still drive all the way to Grand Prairie to have my doge hair cut because Cristol is that amazing.

As always I am very happy with the Petco Grooming that I my Yorkie received from Ashley. ❤️ However, this time I am very unhappy about the changes that Corporate has made to the Rewards program. As a customer of this program for over 11yrs, the rewards are what made it possible for me to be able to afford to bring my dog in faithfully every 6wks for grooming that can cost anywhere between $70 - $100 plus tipping. As I’ve mentioned to Ashley, I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to continue bringing my dog in for grooming. My discount yesterday was a mere $2.00! When I used to have $15 or $25 off in rewards, because I saved them monthly just for his grooming expense! Now I have two animals that I’m paying for this Premier Plan and all I get is a mere $2 discount?? With this economy, that’s insane! I can wash my own Yorkie and I will just have to learn how to cut his hair and trim his nails on my own! He has pet insurance so we will get some of his vet visit reimbursed.. the Premier Plan from Petco is no longer valuable to me, and they have lost my business, but my dog and I LOVE our groomer Ashley.. she is the BEST!!

The groomer Kim works so well with my rescue dog, a German Shepherd/Akita mix, who is very timid. She is very patient and provides great service.

I have been taking my dogs to petco 360 & Camp Wisdom for 9 years. Recently I took my dog Kaos in for her semi-annual grooming. She was there for 5 hours. They called me and said she was done. I picked her up and she looked terrible. She was wet, had clumps of hair falling out everywhere. The worst she has ever looked. I complained and the manager set up a re-do the following Saturday. I brought her in and they called me 30 minutes later and wanted to shave her. She is a beautiful long hair husky. I told them no shaving and suggested they just do a brush out like they have done for years. They said they couldn’t because she was snapping at them. I’m sure she was agitated, but that is why they have muzzles. I went and picked her up and they refunded all the money except the $20 tip I originally left. Petco has lost my business. The attached photos are after the initial grooming when they said she was done.
