The Pet Set

I've been taking my dog, Donner, to the Pet Set since 2023. To say that it's his favorite thing is an understatement. He is absolutely obsessed with going to daycare. He'll get mad at me if I pick him up early. When I got home from deployment, he was at daycare. I was so excited to see him after months of being away, and I decided to pick him up early. He was more annoyed that I showed up early to get him than he was excited that I was finally home. While I have mixed feelings about the fact that he likes daycare more than being reunited with me, it's wonderful to know that he feels so safe and loved while he's there. The staff is fantastic, they learned his name and his quirks very quickly. When I come to pick him up, I'm given updates on how he was that day (he's very moody) and it's comforting to know that someone always has an eye on him. The facilities are great and always kept clean. I also love the fact that there's such a large outdoor space for him to run around in. I absolutely recommend the Pet Set to any pet parents that are looking for a trustworthy daycare that truly loves and cares about the dogs in their care.

The Pet Set made me feel safe an and comfortable with leaving my dog at boarding. The team made sure to always have clear and ongoing communication with me and am happy they could help me. Trainer Kristi did an amazing job with training my puppy!

I have been taking my chocolate lab to Pet Set for years now. The staff is super friendly, they care for all the animals very well. My Penny even enjoyed her day care stint while we were doing construction on our house. I highly recommend them!

We had a terrible experience today with the PetSet Grooming. We recently moved to the Long Beach area so have been on a hunt for a local groomer and we were looking forward to bringing our pets here but after our first visit our older Maltipoo came home with a burned patch of skin around the eye. The hair on the side of his eye is completely gone and skin is swollen in the area, we will be taking him to the vet to insure his eye wasn’t affected. What’s even more disappointing is that they failed to notify us when picking up our pets, 0 mention of the incident and 0 effort to make it right. When my fiancé brought the pets home I immediately noticed something was wrong with our maltipoo and called to get more information. The receptionist answered and knew who I was right away and said she forgot to mention to us that they burned our dogs skin. I then spoke with the manager and he denied that our pet was ever burned he said they put water on the tear area and the hair simply fell off…. Pretty hard to believe and extremely disappointing that not only did they not take ownership for what happened but they failed to notify us and failed to make things right. Be careful taking your pet h

I’ve been taking my puppy Teddy to the Petset for 8 months now. He has stayed up to six days at the Boarding suites. Teddy is a very high energy dog and loves to go there to play with other dogs. Staff is so helpful and friendly. I’m able to watch teddy during play time thru the doggy cams and can communicate with staff with any questions or concerns. I just picked up Teddy after 2 days Boarding. He got a bath and a sanitary groom. They do such a good job both with the bath and the grooming. I’m so happy with the service and Teddy is too. The price is very reasonable better than other places.
