About Tender Paws Grooming

Tender Paws Grooming is a pet groomer in Sarasota, Florida. It is listed at 316 S Washington Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34236, which places it among the local businesses of Sarasota that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Sarasota, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Florida, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Sarasota keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. You can reach Tender Paws Grooming at (941) 870-5756; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, tenderpawsgrooming.com.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 52 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Sarasota.

Sarasota is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Sarasota is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We love Tender Paws Grooming. We’ve been going there for years. We briefly went to another groomer because it was closer but came back to Tender Paws because of what a great job they do on our mini schnauzer.

What an amazing Job Tender Paw did with my 2 year old Shih Tzu name Honey. Her coat was extremely soft & beautiful we couldn't stop loving on her. She knows it and flaunts her beauty. We love their services and prices are reasonable. Tender Paws is Honey's Groomer here on out. Thanks ladies.

My dog loves going to get groomed! The staff is always on time and they always cheer Minnie's name when she arrives! Minnie is sometimes difficult to deal with, but the owner goes above and beyond to accommodate us. We love Tender Paws!!!

Debbie is hands down the best groomer that I have ever met. She is kind, caring, and very professional. She is also an animal whisperer. We adopted my mother in law's two bonded litter mate Pekingese after she passed away. They have always been a challenge to every groomer. My mother in law went to many groomers over the years, that either refused to groom them after the first time, or would begrudgingly groom them as the final dogs of their workday, after all other dogs where gone from their salon. I called Debbie when I brought them home, and explained how difficult they are. She barely blinked, as she knew just how to win them over with kindness and affection. They always come home looking and smelling beautiful. She also uses natural products on them, as they have allergy issues. Because your dog (or cat) deserves the very best, call Tender Paws. Debbie IS the best!
