About The Paw Stop

The Paw Stop was born out of love, not only for dogs but between their owners. They went to high school together in their country of origin (Peru) and met again after 23 years in a school reunion in Miami, Florida. They both love animals, especially dogs, this is the main reason they decided to open a dog grooming here in Sarasota, a city that is full of animal lovers. Ricardo is a veterinarian from Peru and has been grooming dogs for 13 years in his previous business in Port St. Lucie. Call us to book your appointment, you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice place, great location but the real standout is the work! My poodle looks adorable, smells great and the expertise shows in the quality of the shapes of his work.

I'm so happy I found The Paw Stop! Ricardo and staff are very friendly, skilled, and always take such great care of my dog. She always leaves smiling. They know exactly what I have in mind and get it done. The service is fast and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!

I brought my Daisy there for a bath and nail trim. The staff were friendly, the rate was fair, and Daisy loved them. I will be a regular customer moving forward. I highly recommend their services.

Sophie did a fabulous job on my baby Lenny. She had her work cut out for her today to fix some bad issues going on with my pup, but like last time it was an incredible experience. We love you Sophie. I highly recommend her to groom your pet!
