The front desk staff was very nice. This was my dog's first time getting groomed, and wasn't afraid of going into the grooming area, so that helped me feel like the energy of the dogs in the back was fairly relaxed/non-distressed. When I went to pick him up the receptionist tried to get me to purchase the membership before I had even seen how my dog looked, however when I asked if I could see him before I committed to a membership they happily obliged. My dog looked great and he was very excited/did not appear afraid. I did end up getting the membership, however I can only hope my dog looks as good as he did today for every consecutive time I bring him in, as I was told that the first timers are paired with the most experienced groomer so they get the best service their first time - so I guess I may never get paired with an amazing groomer again in the future?

We recently took our one-year-old pup, Pluto, to Scenthound for the first time, and my husband and I could not be more grateful for the experience we had. From the moment we walked in, the entire team made us feel welcomed, supported, and completely comfortable leaving Pluto in their care. Jenny, Leslie, Destiny, Cyleste, and Kristal were all incredibly sweet, patient, and accommodating. Since Pluto is newly with our family and this was his first grooming visit with us, we had quite a few questions and a bit of nervousness. Each of them took the time to walk us through exactly what his first visit would entail, explaining every step clearly and making sure we understood all of our options. What we appreciated most was how understanding and compassionate they were about our situation. At no point did we feel pressured into anything—they simply focused on what would be best for Pluto and what we were comfortable with. Their kindness and genuine care for him were so evident, and it gave us so much peace of mind. When we picked Pluto up, it was obvious that he had been treated with patience and care. By the end of the visit, we felt completely confident that he was in wonderful hands.

I’m fostering this dog and a month ago he was on the street. They were so gentle and kind with him. I could hear them talking to him to calm him through the whole process. And it’s good bang for your buck. Very satisfied customer here!!!

This place is awesome! My roommate started taking a foster dog she's caring for here. The dog had massive skin problems with big patches of missing hair and scaley skin. She also had horribly dirty ears from repeated ear infections and we believed her to be completely deaf. After one bath a week for 6 or 7 weeks her skin has cleared up and her coat looks amazing. Her bare spots are filling in as well. I should also mention that she is not good with strangers and has been known to nip and they not only took her but won her over in a single visit. My roommate asked them to use prescription shampoo and ear wash and they were happy to do so. I'd also like to point out this location provides free bathing to dogs who find themselves at the nearby Bellaire pound. Staff couldn't be nicer to canines and people. Oh also the dogs hearing came back partialy as well from the thorough ear cleaning.

Used to be great but lately it feels like 5 minute oil change. When they first opened service was great. Our monthly grooming under the basic package use to take around 1 hour. Now they call me in less than 30 minutes and my dog comes out damp. They said if I wanted my dog dry, I have to pay extra for blow out. I have on occasion paid for the blow out when I wanted him to look cute for an event. But other times, I just need him washed, dried and nails trimmed.
