In Houston, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Texas, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 8:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We have two adopted babies who come from rescues, one is a Great Pyrenees and I’d really tried to keep up with his grooming because times are tight and he is hard to drive places- as he is a big boy. But we brought him here to Precious and Snoopy and she took care of him and our half husky breed so darn well. They were washed and groomed, nails, ears, romps! I mean they look like proper store bought dogs! Lol. I mean the owner lady is amazing and super knowledgeable and caring. You can tell she loves animals and to boot her prices are very fair. I definitely highly recommend these guys. They are amazing! Tip them well! The good ones need to feel the love of us customers! There’s so many over priced run of the mill grooming places. This one is definitely a small business and I love that! Thank you team! We love everything you do! And we love the little adorable scarves you put on our babies every time! They look so stylish when they’re done!

WE LOVE Martha! We have been to Martha since she 1st started the salon. She was the only one who could handle my dog who is now passed. But I now bring her my husky. She did a great job an he looks amazing! Customer service is great!

I can't say enough good things about Precious and Snoopy! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. My dog usually gets anxious during grooming, but the team here is so gentle and attentive that he was completely at ease. The grooming was perfect he came out looking and smelling amazing, and you could tell he felt great, too! The attention to detail and genuine care they show for the pets is unmatched. Precious and Snoopy is now our go-to groomer. Highly recommend!
