Penny and the Wolf Pet Grooming

I have been bringing my pets to Penny and the Wolf on and off for nearly five years. Over that time, I’ve taken three dogs and our cat there because I wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, my experiences have been consistently disappointing. Last summer, they shaved my 3-month-old puppy without calling me first to discuss it or ask for my approval. I was shocked that such a major decision was made without any communication. The bigger issue, however, has been the customer service. On multiple visits, the staff has been rude and dismissive. During my visit today, I overheard employees speaking about me under their breath. When I responded because I had clearly heard what was said, even the owner laughed at me instead of addressing the situation professionally. It was humiliating and completely uncalled for. We trust groomers with members of our family. We all love our pets, and that’s exactly why we take them to professionals—to know they’ll be cared for with kindness and respect. Sadly, I no longer feel that respect extends to their customers.

Our long-haired cat had terribly matted fur, and the poor thing had pretty much become a recluse -- she kept to herself most of the time and seemed miserable. We brought her to Penny and the Wolf. Though they had to shave most of her fur, they did a wonderful job and she looked amazing. Best of all, it was like she was a different cat. She's been more affectionate and sociable since, like she has a new lease on life. It's time for another visit soon and we'll happily bring her back.

These people are Angels! They went out of their way to help us on a day off for them during and were soo patient and loving. Poor baby was in pain and needed lots of TLC and they delivered! And for an exceptionally reasonable price! Would highly recommend and it's no wonder they are normally booked out weeks in advance. Thank you both so much for taking the time!👍👍🐾🐾
