Extremely Disappointing for Nearly $900 a Night For a hotel charging nearly $900 per night, this experience was honestly unacceptable and nowhere near the level of service or quality we expected. From the beginning, we were left to bus our own luggage without any assistance. The WiFi did not work properly despite us being Marriott Bonvoy members, and when we got to our room, we found a dead bug inside. On top of that, the air conditioning was not working properly and the fan continuously shut itself off, leaving the room uncomfortable. We brought these issues to the hotel’s attention, but they told us they were unable to move us to another room. What made the situation even more disappointing was the complete lack of follow-up. After everything we experienced, no one checked in with us the following day to see whether the issues had been resolved or whether we were comfortable. At nearly $900 per night, you are paying a premium price and should reasonably expect premium accommodations, functioning basic amenities, cleanliness, and attentive service. Always a nice stay at Marriott Hotels. The Newport Marriott Hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the a/c was cold. The front desk associates were all friendly and with polished appearance.The hotel is in a great location! Steps away from the ferry, and great retail shops. Night time is safe to walk down to the Wharf for dinner on the pier. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet downstairs at the MainSail restaurant. Holly was our server each morning and she was so nice and funny to talk with. Thank for a great experience!

Girls trip! July 6-8 Yvette, thank you so much for taking such great care of us. It was a little rainy, but we still had the best time! Can’t thank you enough! The entire hotel staff was fantastic; everyone we met was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and are already eagerly looking forward to our next visit.
