Our dogs Nala & Willie have been going there on and off for over a year, and we always use Lucy’s to board them when we vacation. The staff is super friendly, always informative if something happens while the pups are there & if there is ever any issue, they are always curious and do what they can to help out! Love that there are cameras to watch our pups play when we miss them! Highly recommend Lucy’s Thousand Oaks location!

Brought my 6 month old German Shepherd pup to the Thousand oaks location . When i picked her up her frantically came to me crying. She was shaking when i dropped her off they kept herin a cage all day with exception of potty breaks . I asked about integrating her with the play group as i wanted to socialize her as she is a sweetheart and was lonely into the second week they continued to keep her in a cage. I was furious because i did not pay to keep her caged. They claimed they did not have the staff to spen time with het. I took her to a competitor not with bells cameras and whistled within 2 day she was playing with small dogs by the 3rd visit she pulls with excitement to join the playgroup and the people are kind to her. They are a blessing. Lucy’s grew to fast and they glamorize a wonderful play experience. Be warned if you have a shy pup that needs to build trust and confidence. This place is NOT for you! Overpriced to keep a young pup caged and tramatized . German shepherd pups are high energy snd this was a waste of money as well as trauma i would never have wished for my pup

I paid for a full groom and specifically requested a full body cut from head to tail. Unfortunately, only part of the body was trimmed. The ears were not cleaned, the nails were not cut, and the head was left long. They also did not properly trim the legs. For $124, I expected a complete professional groom. The haircut my dog received is something I could have done myself at home. Please pay close attention to what is actually being done to your dog compared to what you are paying for. This was my first time here, and unfortunately it will also be my last.

I cannot suggest Lucy's enough. I'd heard of them for years but there was a closer dog daycare that I frequented. Well, they lost their groomer so I decided to try the nearest Lucy's and I'm so friggin' glad that I did. The onboarding process was seamless. It's really easy to create a profile and upload vaccination records to their portal. You can also use it to schedule services. I was able to select the groomer for my dog, the date of service, and time. It was so easy! When we arrived they have the option for you to text the front desk and someone will come get your dog from your car. Or you can walk in. I got a chance to talk through the grooming service with the groomer and that helped a lot since it was our first time. I got updates throughout the day about how my dog was doing. Pickup was a breeze. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're worried about leaving your fur baby somewhere, I assure you those worries aren't warranted. The staff here are exemplary. They really care, they're incredibly competent, and they're running a well-oiled machine. Can't wait to bring my pup back!
