About Lafleur Pet Grooming

Located at 4400 Keller Ave #120, Oakland, CA 94605, Lafleur Pet Grooming operates as a pet groomer serving Oakland in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Lafleur Pet Grooming at (510) 221-1817; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is lafleurpetgrooming.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Oakland is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Oakland is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

La Fleur does a wonderful job with my doodle Riley. Every time he goes there, he comes back looking sharp! I can tell that they take good care of him and adore him. Plus they are not too far from my house so it’s very convenient for me.

We love Shea and Dakota, and the entire LaFluer crew! My dog, Milo, is 12.5 years old with a lot of allergies, and he has constant irritation around his face and paws. With their help, I have been able to manage his allergies with regular grooming sessions. They even started brushing his teeth! He always comes home clean and very happy. Milo and I love this crew and are very grateful to have them in Oakland.

LaFleur Pet Grooming I have been to Lafleur a few times and they have done a v nice job. Recently it has been hard to get appointments. I stopped in a few weeks ago because I couldn't get anything online that wasn't 2+ months out. I love supporting local. They said no problem, one of the girls would come in on a Monday but that it would be a bit more. I said that was ok. And 20% more I was willing to pay. I have a small 15 lb dog. I paid $125 plus $40 tip previously. They tried to charge me $440 for cut and tip?! they claimed I knew it would be more given it was a monday. First of all, our conversation was all verbal and they in no way said 3 hours to cut a small dog at $150/hour plus tip, they said it would be a bit. $440?! how ridiculous. The girl cutting offered to reduce it in the end and I said I would be willing to pay more like $200ish with tip. But then the owner called and said, "we only charged you 2.5 hours and you knew it would be more"?! like somehow this was my issue. I should have recorded the conversation but she was not nice; but in NO WAY would I have agreed to a $450 haircut for a 15 lb dog. I made mention that the owner that the groomer (owners sister) said

The groomers at Le fleur are the BEST!!! They love what they do and it shows through their work. I recently had my maltipoo groomed here and was very happy with the experience. I was impressed with their amazing skills and couldn’t have asked for a better summer ‘do for my dog. Thank you Le Fleur!!!!
