We always have a great experience at K9 Cafe Dog Grooming! Everyone is super friendly and kind, their prices are very reasonable, and they always do such a great job with our dogs. It’s nice having a place you can trust to take good care of your pets. Definitely recommend!

It has a very nice & relaxing atmosphere in the backyard. The pond makes it really peaceful. There's a stage for live music & a bar outdoors. They have both grooming services & self service washing sites. We used the grooming services. The groomer did a great job on our dog. However, we did get to hear the employees argue with each other while we were there. There's also a wide variety of pet accessories. However, some of them were dusty. Cashier was stealthy behind the counter. We did encounter the fiesta, chubby dog. Initially it is scary but it was all bark & no bite. Beware when introducing it to your pup because it is still territorial. Again...no bite. When i returned, I encountered another patron's unleashed dog. That growled viciously at us. I closed the shop door on the dog & it's owner called it back. The dog didn't pursue anything us after that. This is a risk you can encounter with other's people's pets. This is not the fault of the location. The hours for the different services varies. So it isn't just 8am-7pm.

Honestly gotta give this place 5 stars. Came in an extreme skeptic due to very unfavorable encounters in every dog park I've been to in San Antonio, but this place is amazing! Very clean, very friendly, and very accommodating! Two notes is that it is slightly expensive for their food but happy hour drinks and comparing it to other places around the quality hold up and it is worth it to keep this place in business. Their costs for grooming are so much cheaper than other places and combined with the atmosphere and grabbing a beer while my dog gets her nails clipped is way better than petco. I love this place and my young daughter did too with live music and pugs running around. Will return many times.

I appreciate that they do the nail cut and file as one price and don't charge extra. My husband brought our dog and said there's a wonderful place for her to play outside but it was raining so we couldn't. She came back clean, smelling wonderful, and her nails look great. The little bandana was cute and it's only a few minutes from the house so we're happy to continue going! We had to wait a little while but it didn't bother us because we needed to run to Costco anyway. They were straight forward with us that she didn't really like getting her nails done but that it wasn't a problem and I liked the open communication. Thank you for caring for our pup! We'll be back soon!

I came in to buy a birthday cake for my dog, and what happened was flat-out dangerous and unacceptable. The second I walked through the door, an unleashed, aggressive dog came charging at me, barking. Like any normal person, I put my hand out and said “it’s okay,” assuming he was just the shop dog alerting staff. Instead, he lunged at me. From that moment on, he relentlessly jumped on me, trying to get ahold of my hands. I had to keep my hands held high against my chest to keep him from biting me. I’m attaching a screenshot from the video I took, because the full video says everything, and it’s only a fraction of what actually happened. What made this even worse? NO ONE was supervising this dog. I stood there being jumped on, nipped at, lunged at, and barked at with zero employees present. This went on way too long. When someone finally came out, he did NOTHING. No leash, no restraint, no stepping in physically. He just yelled at the dog to “shut up.” When I asked if the dog is always there, he said yes. That’s when I started recording, because I realized this wasn’t a one-off incident ,this is normal for them. I walked out immediately, completely empty-handed. I called the B
