Heights Grooming

I want to start off by saying this place has great customer service. But unfortunately that’s all they have. I have a long-haired dapple dachshund they don’t actually do grooming and styling. All they do is take a guard and run it along their body so if you want to keep your dogs coat long and just thin out their hair to keep the design they can’t do that. Also, you can tell his cut was rushed. There were still long pieces of hair along his back if you’re looking for a place just to just run a guard and shave your dog down then this place is for you but if you have any type of long-haired dog and you’re not looking to shave down their coat, and actually have some styling probably best to look another place.

I have been taking my Cocker Spaniel–Poodle mix, Winston, to Heights Grooming since I moved to Houston in December. Because he is part doodle, he needs frequent grooming, so we go about once a month. Heights Grooming always does a wonderful job! They always take the time to ask exactly what style I want, keep their pricing transparent and reasonable, and make sure Winston is comfortable and calm. He is always so excited to go to the groomer and comes out looking amazing every time! They are also incredibly flexible and provide great customer service. There have been several times when I’ve asked to be squeezed in last minute or early in the morning, and they always do their best to accommodate me. I highly recommend them!

We’ve been bringing our doodle to Heights Pet Grooming for over three years, and we couldn’t be happier. Jose is absolutely wonderful with her—she gets so excited every time it’s spa day! It’s clear he genuinely cares about the dogs and takes the time to make them feel comfortable and loved. She always comes home looking beautiful, happy, and relaxed. The staff is friendly, professional, and consistently provides excellent service. We highly recommend Heights Pet Grooming, especially Jose, to anyone looking for a groomer who truly treats your pet like family.

Jimmy is exceptional and has been grooming our dog for years. We followed him to Heights Grooming and have been very impressed with their team of people, their care of the animals and their professionalism. They make it convenient to book, sign in, drop off/pickup, and pay, which we greatly appreciate. Jimmy knows it can be a nerve wrecking experience for some dogs (ours included!) so his sensitivity and skills are much appreciated!

From the moment I called Heights Grooming I felt 100% comfortable sending my Golden Retriever for her first professional cut. The owner was so friendly and professional, and I was able to speak with the groomer before and after the grooming, which was so reassuring. They were communicative the entire time and even made sure to compliment my dog’s smile, showing just how involved they were in her grooming. They squeezed us in last minute, and my dog left looking amazing and happy, plus she got a cute toy to take home! I’ll definitely be back!
