In Houston, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Texas, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

These ppl tell you one price over the phone and then charge you a whole different price when the service is completed. I feel completely ripped off. I was over charged for a puppy cut. I asked for a poodle cut (even showed an example) and they did something totally different. I wont ever come back here.. if you’re smart you would avoid them too. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

My granddog as well as the rest of our family pets ❤️ going to get groomed. We have used this service for atleast 20 years now. It's something about telling our dogs, "do you want to go to Mikayla's?" that gets their tails wagging and they'll dance around....pet parents will get it.

I had high hopes for this place, because I was recommended by one of my friends. Everything was going great in the beginning, lady told me that it was going to be around $50-$55 for the haircut and we went over my dogs coat to see how matted she was and we decided to just shave her off and do the schnauzer face, and to save her eyelashes so she would look more girly like. When I arrived to pick up my dog The lady at the front counter told me that the total was gonna be $70 and I told her what happened to the $50-$55 and honestly didn’t really have a good excuse. She just said oh maybe because the dog was matted but we already went over that. The second thing that was an issue was the fact that the groomer cut my dogs lashes off when I specifically asked to save the lashes and that was the one thing that was my main concern. The only thing the lady told me was that she’ll put in the notes for next time and maybe that I’ll be compensated. It’s very annoying that I spent $70 when I normally spend 55 ( and no communication on the price change ) and they did exactly what I asked them not to do and the only excuse was the groomer must have not read the note cards. Why would there be a n
