Fine Whine's & Lickers Dog Bar and Spa

This was our doggie's first time at Fine Whine & Lickers. Everyone there is friendly and skilled. They took the time to listen to any questions we had and to guide us on hair length. We appreciated the call to let us know he would soon be ready. When we picked him up, they said he did so well, although the hair dryer did make him slightly nervous. Lydia (the groomer) took the time to explain how she kept him calm by using a kind of hat that provides light compression over their ears. I'm definitely going to get one to use whenever we have thunderstorms. She did a great job with his haircut and overall grooming. I love how they trimmed around his paws (looks a little bit like a heart shape!). And his hair is so soft!! I also appreciate their attention to ingredients that might cause allergic reactions. While our dog does not have allergies, I am extremely allergic to coconut. The gal up front (sorry I did not catch her name) took the time to ensure they used coconut-free products. He's often nervous before and after a grooming session (at other places). This time he was relaxed and happy. I think that's because the energy there is so positive and welcoming. I have taken Niko to Sarah for 6 years and she recently moved to this spa so this was our first visit here. I am so glad we were able to find her at this new place. Niko is epileptic (has seizures) and I trust Sarah completely with him to know how to handle unforeseen situations. The whole staff is great! Hannah is super friendly and informative and handles stressful situations with calm and grace (there was an issue with another dog who was extremely cranky and not very friendly). I wasn't able to see Max today but I know her from the previous salon and am so excited to have her back. Niko always looks amazing after a morning with this team. Niko was so happy to see them again he gave them a bath in kisses before he got his own bubble bath.

Absolutely love taking our cat Lolli! She comes home happy and perfectly styled. My daughter was so excited when they offered to dye Lolli’s tail. They did an amazing job!

I love taking my fur babies here. All the staff you interact with is so attentive and caring. They truly make you feel at ease with leaving your babies in trusting hands. I take two of my fur babies here and let me just say they leave me speechless Everytime. My two babies are more on the nervous side being around anyone they don't know. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome and your fur babies will be greeted as well. They help you out with making sure your baby is getting the cut you want for them. Today I took my girl Alba. She was super shy and nervous but with a few treats in she was willing to go with the staff. This is a before and after of her day at the groomers. She was one happy pup 10/10 recommend this place to all family and friends

The absolute best in San Antonio! We took our puppy, Birdie, here for her first grooming and we haven’t taken her anywhere else since. Everyone is so kind and patient with her, and she always comes home with a big smile on her face (and a new toy)! They “treat” all the dogs like their own and genuinely care about them. Exceptional experience every time! Thank you all for being so wonderful!!
