In Sarasota, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Florida, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours are published for 3 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–3 pm. It is closed on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Fancy Felines LLC at (941) 279-5902; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Sarasota is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sarasota follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have owner cats my entire life and never had any need for a cat groomer. Now I have two long-haired Siberians and I can't imagine not having Fancy Felines to take care of their fur. My cats look so good when they are done with an appointment and one of them struts around like she is queen bee after she gets her hair done. The folks there do a wonderful job!

The Fancy felines team is amazing and I can't recommend them enough! I brought my cat Suki in to have a few mats removed and get a bath/any quality of life grooming they recommend. They didn't try to push me on any extra treatment and the price was great! Normally Suki is VERY difficult with vets and groomers but he was calmed by Aubrey and the team from the second we dropped him off. It brings me peace of mind knowing that a true animal lover is handling my cat. He has been so so happy since his visit and we couldn't be more pleased with fancy felines. The experience was so great I already booked my next appointment for suki 4 months out!

Hands down, the groomers here are amazing! They are patient, kind, and incredibly compassionate. I have two cats—one of whom is quite the troublemaker—but somehow, they always manage to handle him with ease. Their gentle approach and expertise make all the difference. I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful organization in our community that truly loves our feline friends as much as we do. If you have a cat, don’t hesitate—take them here! You won’t regret it!

Aubrey is truly such a wonderful and kind person, I have been taking my fur baby to her for awhile now as well as my family’s cat too. I recommend her to anyone that is looking to get their feline groomed with love and care and professionalism. She goes above and beyond and you will always know your fur baby is in good hands . 💙

What a cute place and very professional! Fancy Felines did an awesome job on my parents cat who had a build up of dander and started getting mats. We got him a lion cut and he’s very happy and looks great! Please don’t do what I did and that’s try to cut some mats out on own. I cut him and it will heal and be okay however I hurt him 😢. I’m so glad we found Fancy Felines and our cat will be back again for maintenance. He also did very well there and is in a great mood so job well done! Update: regarding FF reply, yes , I noticed Mickeys legs were very sensitive. I think his legs are so cute and I’m glad you stayed the course and made him comfortable!
