Ashley is committed to helping you work with your dog and to help your dog feel comfortable and safe and polite in your home and I just love her energy. She's easy to be with and you can tell she is drawing from loads of experience. She helped us with a border collie mix who we adopted at age six and a half who was having trouble being around strangers. He would nip at, or it bite, them if they reached for his face to pet him. After putting in place the directives she gave us over three meetings, he has not bitten anyone who has reached for his face to pet him, and he is much calmer and more confident. Yay!

I have a bully breed dog who experienced a decline in social skills and confidence after undergoing major surgery. Ashley is warm and encouraging. She has helped us make tremendous progress with our adopted dog, who has proven to have significant fear issues, including stranger danger, and protective/guarding behaviors (both genetic and learned). To watch our dog come down from a place of absolute fear to calmly accepting treats and following simple commands from a stranger has been absolutely amazing, and it's all thanks to Ashley's expertise. We so appreciated our training appointment with Ashley with our 4 month old puppy. Her positive reinforcement approach really works! We were amazed by how quickly our puppy responded to the training. Plus we received detailed notes on the exercises she demonstrated for us to refer to moving forward! This training was absolutely worth our time and the investment in our relationship with our puppy.
