The Dog Wizard Fort Collins

I can’t say enough good things about The Dog Wizard Fort Collins. From puppy class to off-leash and remote training, every step of the process exceeded my expectations. Ro, Jackie, Fred, and Bri are an incredible team. They genuinely care — not just about the dogs, but about the owners too. They made me feel like part of the family from day one, and I always knew my dog was in great hands. Ro even went the extra mile to meet me an hour early so I could drop my dog off before work. That level of commitment says a lot about how they run their business. They’ve encouraged me to push my dog and hold him to a higher standard, and the results speak for themselves. I get compliments all the time on how well-behaved he is, and that’s 100% thanks to their guidance and support. If you’re considering training, I highly recommend The Dog Wizard Fort Collins. Worth every bit of it.

We are having a fantastic experience with The Dog Wizard! We have two dogs, Layla and Cosmo. They are very different dogs and are at different stages in their learning. Layla came to us as a puppy and we went through the traditional foundation building puppy class. She is currently enjoying nose work with Ro. Cosmo came to us as a youngster but with reactivity issues. We have been able to work on foundations while addressing his behaviors. Thanks to Ro and Fred we have been given excellent instruction and tools to help us prepare and intervene during reactive moments. Cosmo’s behavior has improved immensely and our confidence in managing these situations has grown. The Dog Wizard team has made a huge difference in our lives. My husband and I are certain that without The Dog Wizard trainers we would be living in a stressful home situation. Their support doesn’t stop once the final class ends. The weekly support class for graduates allows for continued practice of skills and time to ask the trainers questions. The trainer support line is there for when the unexpected happens and you need instructions before the next support class comes around. We have used both these services. The tr

We had an incredible experience with The Dog Wizard! Communication was clear and consistent from the start, and we always felt supported throughout the process. Riley was an absolute rockstar who was patient, knowledgeable, and truly connected with our pup, Millie. Millie is very food motivated, and Riley knew exactly how to channel that into focused, positive training sessions. One thing we especially appreciated was that Millie didn’t just stay overnight in a facility, she actually went home with Riley. That level of care and personal attention made a huge difference and gave us so much peace of mind. What really set The Dog Wizard apart was the long-term training support. Even months later, and despite us not always being perfect about following every task, Millie still remembers her cues and expectations. The foundation Riley built with her has truly lasted. We highly recommend The Dog Wizard to anyone looking for more than just a quick fix, this was real, lasting transformation. Thank you, Riley and the Dog Wizard Team!

I highly recommend Fort Collins Dog Wizard. Our 2 year old Golden Retriever was struggling with a couple issues like confidence, leash pulling and occasional reactivity on the leash towards other dogs. Marcus, Brenden and the other trainers worked their magic with Dawson to change his state of mind. They also worked their magic on my husband and I teaching us how to work with Dawson to get the positive results we were looking to achieve. Their training program is very effective and I'm pretty sure Dawson had a blast while learning to be a good boy. After graduation, we were encouraged to attend the Saturday support groups to continue reinforcing positive behavior. We appreciate the support classes because it gives Dawson a chance to be around many other dogs and practice walking on a short leash around others. It has also been a good opportunity to ask questions and get advice on new issues that arise. Thanks for being AWESOME Dog Wizard!!!

I can’t say enough good things about The Dog Wizard and the whole team! If you're looking for dog training in Fort Collins, these are your people. When I first contact them, my email went something like this… “Help! You are our last resort…” and they did not disappoint. We did both the 6 and 15 day train program. Marcus and Brenden did such a wonderful job of explaining everything to us and answering all of our questions. Their patience, professionalism and expertise is so appreciated. Our dog has had fear based aggression issues almost since we’ve had her. We’ve been though multiple trainers but The Dog Wizard has been the only one that has actually helped us. Before, we couldn’t have people in the house without our dog aggressively barking and lunging. Now, she sits in her “place” and lays there calmly. We can take her on walks in crowds of people and to go grab a beer on a patio. That has never happened before. Going through their training has given us so much freedom and so much less anxiety! The dog is happier, we’re happier, it was such a wonderful experience. But, it’s not over... After becoming a client of The Dog Wizard’s, you get free group classes for life. We mee
