We are so thankful to have found Beth and Wayne! They were absolute life savers for us in every way imaginable. It is one thing to be given ideas and instructions on ways to train your dog, but they go the extra mile to make sure you understand the reasoning behind everything and to explain the way your dog thinks, acts, and behaves. We learned so much throughout our 10 sessions, and we found this knowledge and insight to be incredibly valuable. It will make us better dog parents now and in the future. When we came to Beth and Wayne, I was struggling with the idea that I wasn't even sure that I liked my dog. I felt such a disconnect with her, and it was extremely heartbreaking for me as I had lost my soul dog 6 months before we adopted her, and I wanted that connection so badly. I can confidently say that I have since fallen in love with her, and our bond and connection is so deep and strong. I understand so much more about her, and I feel that she has grown to trust us and love us in a way that I never imagined would be possible before. I owe so many thanks to Beth and Wayne! You can tell that they truly care about strengthening the relationships and bonds between owners and

This class was not engaging or personable at ALL. I actually DREADED going to this class! My dog has some issues that I was hoping to work on, but the class isn’t set up to help individuals with their dog’s unique challenges. I doubt that the owner/s even know my or my dogs name. The best way to describe this class is “It’s like taking an online class, but you there in person.” I can’t say enough about how negative this experience has been, I have been in dog training classes since my puppy was 12 weeks and have never experienced anything this bad. Would never recommend- overpriced for the worst group training classes imaginable.

Our best friend Buddy (how original) was adopted and is a reactive dog. A kitten has been introduced into our house and had to be kept away from Buddy. We also have been having trouble walking him past other dogs, people coming to our house and barking at noises. Beth and Wayne have been patiently working with us for weeks and what a difference. The cat and dog share the house without a problem and we are making great headway with the other issues. So glad we found them!

My husband and I recently completed the beginner dog training class. What a difference it has made in our walks already! Wayne and Beth are very knowledgeable. The classes were outside in a small group setting. They did a great job teaching and answering questions. We are going back for the agility class and perhaps more.

I cannot recommend Beth, Wayne, and Canine Companion Consulting enough. We rescued two dogs at once (not something I’d recommend): Shifty, a stray who was adopted and then returned to the shelter for his so-called “high prey drive” (he turned out to be under two years old, not four), and Cera, a four-month-old preventably deaf and blind double merle. At the time, we already had a calm pack of three older dogs, so we thought we were ready. We weren’t. Shifty was a whirlwind of anxiety, trauma, and FOMO despite our best efforts with food, routine, and enrichment — and we had no idea how to communicate with a deaf and blind puppy. Let alone two puppies. We interviewed many trainers — and I’ve worked with others in different states — but Beth and Wayne are better than all of them combined. Truly. They are not only phenomenal trainers but also compassionate, brilliant, and kind humans. From the very first tearful phone call, they met us exactly where we were and gave us hope when surrendering felt like our only option (even though we were against it). They trained us as much as they trained Shifty, and the difference was immediate. Their one-on-one sessions gave us tools to navigate
