About Doggie Stylezz

Doggie Stylezz is one of the pet groomers listed in San Jose, California. The business is registered at 478 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose, CA 95123; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–4:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (408) 226-3034. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 139 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in San Jose and suggests consistent service.

DO NOT GO HERE, ESPECIALLY TO EVA!! We were a loyal client and took our Pomeranian here regularly for the past 5 years with Heather. She recently stopped working here and they changed to new ownership. Our last two cuts with Eva (who is apparently the new manager) were TERRIBLE AND TRAUMATIZING. After the first one, we had mistakenly decided to give her another chance and this time we showed her pictures of exactly what we wanted. She did not listen at all. Anyone who is experienced with grooming Pomeranians knows the importance of maintaining their double coat. She had completely shaved off his overcoat which damages the hair follicles and will now cause uneven regrowth, coarse texture, or alopecia. She didn’t even bother to shape him so his fur is uneven and choppy. His mane is longer than his body and she completely cut down his tail to the nub!! I’m getting so upset just writing about this! We took him to a different groomer afterwards who offered to fix his cut and she said that Eva had used clippers on his fur instead of shears which you should NEVER do for a Pomeranian. We also believe she was rough with our Pomeranian and hurt him. He never had any issues when he was seei

DONT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!! We used to bring our yorkies here and decided to bring our new puppy for her first haircut. We asked for her hair to be trimmed, we even showed pictures of what we exactly wanted. When we showed up to pick her up, we found her shaven and left a mess! They didn’t even know what to tell us! Shame on the owners and shame on the stylist for going against what a customer had ask for and PAID FOR!! They offered no compensation and no apology. Don’t bring your pets here unless you want their hair cut completely wrong. Shame on this place, the stylists should be disgusted with themselves! Never bringing our pets here again!

Sadly I will not be returning to Doggy Stylz grooming on Blossom Hill and Snell Avenue. My last visit was horrible. I walked into my appointment only to find out that all the groomers had been replaced. The front desk staff was also replaced. There was no records on file so I had to explain what I wanted done. I returned shortly thereafter (fastest grooming ever). I noticed that all the dogs were whimpering. That really bothered me. The 2 male groomers there didn’t seem to have control of the pets. Their harnesses were way too loose and the male groomers seemed to be unfamiliar with grooming techniques. If I could give half star I would. I’m really going to miss this place especially after finally being able to take advantage of the senior discount (that I was told by another customer) is no longer available. 🥲

Never going back. I had been a loyal customer of Doggy Stylezz for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Looks like the owner has changed out all the groomers since my dog’s cut last month. The first red flag should have been that my dog’s grooming history and preferred haircut were no longer in their system, despite years of visits. I brought in my white Maltese and requested a #3 cut. After waiting over 4 hours, they brought him out and said he was finished, but the front half of his body still had long hair. It looked like much of the grooming hadn’t even been done. I asked them to fix it, but after seeing how stressed my dog had become, I went back in and asked them to stop. I had to ask 4–5 times before anyone responded. The worst part was discovering later that they had cut my dog’s left ear and never told me. I only found out after we got home. Unacceptable to. To inform the pet parent. When I requested a refund, the staff claimed they didn’t know how to process one. Only after I asked to speak with the owner was my refund processed. After years of loyalty, this experience was unacceptable. Poor communication, an incomplete groom, ignoring repeat

Check in experience is excellent. Price is great Care of my senior dog was excellent. My lil 6lb Cha-Chi is almost 11. Because of a bad allergic reaction and sores that stemmed from it, he couldn’t be groomed for months. Brushing hurt too, so he became very matted. I decided to come here, and upon entering he was scared, but they were nice, so I knew he’d be ok. He was done quicker than expected . When I picked him up, he was very happy with that big grin you see on the picture. I’m happy with results as I expected him to come out nearly bald, but he looks adorable even without his long locks on his body and ears. I have no idea how they pulled this off with the condition he was in, but they did.
