General veterinarians and animal hospitals do checkups, vaccinations, dental cleanings, spaying and neutering and sick visits; emergency and 24-hour vets treat injuries and sudden illness at night and on weekends; mobile vets come to the house; rehab centers offer physical therapy, hydrotherapy and acupuncture; and pet pharmacies fill prescriptions and sell prescription diets. Groomers often spot skin problems, ear infections, lumps or overgrown nails first and will suggest a vet visit.

Getting around Tyler is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Thank you so much for taking such good care of this boy for going on 11 years now!!! Yall have been there for him through so much - and saved him when he needed to be stabilized after he got hit by a car. ♥️ we are so grateful, even if Charlie doesn’t always show it 🌚

I’ve been taking my fur babies to City Small Animal clinic since I moved to Tyler. In that time, Dr Daughtry has helped us through losing a kitty, as well as welcoming new pets and caring for current. Jessica and the vet techs are kind, compassionate and don’t treat us like a paycheck. They genuinely care about the people and animals they encounter. Dr Daughtry calls to check in after visits, and does what he can to get the animals the best care.

Our Boston Terrier Lexi, has been going to Dr Daughtry for years. I also let them keep her when I go out of town and they are so good with her. Dr Daughtry has the best heart for animals. The staff has been very sweet, understanding and really are good with Lexi and they tolerate me when I'm out of town, calling and checking on Lexi. I am truly blessed to have Dr Daughtry as our vet for our silly Lexi!
