Owensboro is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Owensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My shitzu has been going to Brackens for years and Lena and her crew do an amazing job taking care of him. She always ask me how I want him done but I let her do what she thinks and she never misses. Thank you for all you do. I highly recommend.

She takes really good care of our dog! As soon as we get there gizmo, my dog, is like part of their family! They take him from me and love on him! And I’ve never had a complaint about his grooming!

I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience at this plaxe], and I feel compelled to share my concerns. From the moment I entered the facility, it was evident that professionalism was sorely lacking. The staff appeared disorganized and ill-prepared, which is particularly troubling in an environment dedicated to the care of our furry companions. The atmosphere within the grooming area was anything but serene; it was chaotic, with dogs barking nervously and employees looking overwhelmed sitting in their cars smoking and frazzled. My dog, who is typically calm and sociable, seemed visibly stressed in such an unwelcoming environment. When I voiced my worries to the staff, they dismissed my concerns with indifference, showing little understanding of the compassion and empathy that should be fundamental in a pet grooming establishment. As for the grooming itself, it was disappointingly substandard. My dog emerged from the session looking nothing like I had envisioned, with uneven fur and a lackluster appearance. It was obvious that the groomers lacked the necessary training and expertise to provide a quality service. To add to my distress, my dog appeared anxious and uncomfort

I love Brackens!! It’s the one and only dog grooming place that can and will groom my aggressive Maltipoo properly! He always leaves from there groomed nicely with a cute little bandana on his neck! Thank you Brackens for your patience with my “cotton” baby!

This a hard one for me. I have taken my dog there 3 times now. The first 2 times I was very happy with the results. The last time however was disappointing. I didn’t ask them to shave my dog so that was a shock, and 4 of his nails were bloody when I picked him up. The prices are reasonable and like I said I have gotten very good results .
