Staff was prompt at greeting & asking to assist. Found what I was looking for, and was out quickly thanks to there being two cashiers on hand.

Was greeted at the doors, looking for a lawnmower took me right to the mower I was looking for. They checked if they had some in warehouse. Then took me up to checkout and used my online coupon! The person who was helped us out made sure we got the coupon applied. The gentleman helped me load up the lawnmower. The staff was with me from walking in the store to loading the lawnmower in my vehicle. It’s been a long time were I have been treated respectfully and by employees we truly seamed happy to be at work!!!!

Been here a handful of times for the rental center, either they won’t rent some items or they’re broken. Wish I could say this was just once but it’s been a few times now. Latest called to confirm availability to rent drove in just to have them say we can’t rent it now. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else to rent this is a waste of my time.

They did a fantastic job helping me find the stuff I needed. I was walking in the middle of the store and an older gentlemen came up to me and took me to my product I needed. Everyone there was very friendly and do a splendid job.

★★★★★ Ace Hardware of Appleton rocks—hands-down the best hardware spot in town over the big box chains. They always have exactly what you need (no endless wandering aisles), prices are fair, staff is super helpful and knowledgeable (they’ll walk you through projects like pros), and it’s got that classic, no-nonsense hardware store vibe with everything from tools and paint to grills and garden stuff. Quick in-and-out, friendly faces, and they support local which feels good. Only thing is, it’s a lot of old guys hanging around—retirees browsing, chatting up the employees, giving advice whether you ask or not—but hey, that’s part of the charm in Appleton. Keeps it real and community-focused. Great for quick fixes, big projects, or just grabbing odds and ends. 5 stars easy—Ace does it right every time!
