The VHS helped connect us to our sweet dog in 2021. Always gentle, it took awhile for her to be the playful girl who loves to make us laugh. Fast forward to this year, when she learned to swim!

I got my Damon three years ago today and he has been the best orange tabby I’ve ever had as a kitty. He is so funny and loving, and the sweetest boy you will ever meet who doesn’t meet a stranger that he doesn’t love to have playtime with please help out the shelter and get yourself a kitty you won’t regret it. They make the best pets. thank you again, Vanderburg Humane Society for giving me the best kitty ever

Hey, I was adopted from here! A big hello and thank you to VHS in Evansville! I was originally named lightning, My owner thinks I’m perfect and so he named me Skye. The VHS family took care of me while I was there waiting and helped me find my forever path. I’m now in service dog training, I’ll be rocking the vest and learning every day. I love my new human so much! When we aren’t training we play and I have a big fenced in backyard I can burn laps around. I have a German Shepherd sibling her name is Toby and she’s an elder of the family. She’s 80 years old in dog years! (14 years for the humans.) Fun fact she was also adopted from VHS in 2021! She tells me so many cool adventures they have been on together! I get to go on daily walks and we play fetch and I have lots and lots of toys to play with while I get off from work! I get lots of treats and amazing food from my human! He lets me sleep in his bed to keep him going and safe. I am just learning, but my owner says I’m very smart and such an amazing best friend and worker. Thank you VHS beyond means. ❤️
