Vets and pet-health businesses handle what a groomer cannot. General veterinarians and animal hospitals do checkups, vaccinations, dental cleanings, spaying and neutering and sick visits; emergency and 24-hour vets treat injuries and sudden illness at night and on weekends; mobile vets come to the house; rehab centers offer physical therapy, hydrotherapy and acupuncture; and pet pharmacies fill prescriptions and sell prescription diets. Groomers often spot skin problems, ear infections, lumps or overgrown nails first and will suggest a vet visit.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. We came in to get our lovely Buddha chipped. Staff were really friendly from front desk to vets. They even fed Buddha prior to her receiving her shots. I would definitely recommend bringing your pet kid here. Thank you UPH.

Dr. Singh is an amazing doctor and an even more amazing person. His patience and the way he explains concepts for treatment is world's above what the bigger hospitals provide. Pricing is reasonable and there is no judgement for removing optional services. He will definitely be our main vet moving forward for our dog Winston!

Amazing team, I am so thankful that I was able find Universal Pet Hospital. Approximately 6 months ago they treated our dog Kaya's eyelid tumor. It was benign, but had started growing rapidly and was causing obvious discomfort and eye discharge. We were very worried about her being able to keep normal eye function - it was almost 1 cm deep! This tumor has a fairly recurrence rate, and there have been no signs of remission, thank you so much! We were able to get booked on short notice and surgery got taken care of same day. The doctor was able to get it out cleanly without having to remove too much surrounding tissue. Her eye healed perfectly, it looks identical to her unaffected eye. I also feel comfortable saying the Kaya was treated very gently, no signs of fear/anxiety. In contrast she was rather standoffish and closed off after surgery at a different practice - I'm glad this time was not a negative experience for her. I also greatly appreciate that the cost of the surgery was incredibly affordable for such a high standard of care. The pricing of the services was clearly broken down and doctor was patient in explaining their importance. I'm grateful that I didn't feel the need t

I was glad to find Universal Pet Hospital and it was easy to schedule an appointment online which most of the other local vets don't have the ability to schedule online, it was helpful as it was way past business hours, I was able to schedule to bring my dog in for Saturday. The office was big and very clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the start. Rachel the vet assistant was very nice, gentle and loving towards my Canela. Dr. Randhawa was also gentle, professional, detail oriented and very knowledgeable Vet. He explained things until I understood them and was patient with my questions. I felt they truly cared about my pet and their pricing was reasonable. They were understanding and flexible offering payment plans like Care Credit, helps a lot. They are reasonable with their pricing and considerate. The front desk assistant Lynette was also very helpful in answering some of my questions and talking with me while I waited for all my dog's test results to come back. She helped a lot at the end when I had to split my payment methods, her and Rachel were patient and walked me through the Care Credit process. Overall, this is a great practice that cares about your pet.

Accidentally called the wrong vet & fell in love with their tech (Sammy) so much that we immediately booked a visit in. The staff is fantastic and our cat was obviously more comfortable here than our previous vet. They’re extremely helpful, patient, and provide in house blood work so we can find out results quickly. Would recommend!
