Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Nevada, and how long your pet will stay. Reno is in Nevada, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Reno follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We were in a jam and Uncle Fredies thankfully had boarding available. It was clean they were unbelievably accommodating, so nice and our dog came home happy! We now have a new boarding place in Reno. Thanks so much.

0 STARS - i left my dog for 5 days and was only updated 2 times. i was told i have to pay $10 per pic after they send 1 a day but they couldn’t even do that. hot concrete in the back which isn’t safe for paws and my dog is visibly hot while breathing funny. possibly even some fake grass but no. Dhonna the owner decided to be rude and get upset at me for her updating another person i never said was okay. doesn’t matter who it is never gave consent. overall very disappointed and will never bring them around the place again. please make sure you you’re okay with no updates or willing to pay $10 to see pictures of your dog.

Uncle Freddie’s is a great place to take our dogs for boarding. They are so accommodating and truly care about our fur babies. It’s convenient in that they will give dogs vaccines if they are not current with their shots. They can also get groomed during boarding. Our senior lab needs medication every 12 hours and if it’s missed, he will have a seizure. The techs and owner were very conscientious about giving him his meds on time so we didn’t have to worry. Our doggies were very happy when we picked them up. Thank you Dhonna and your staff for the excellent care you provided!

I've been taking my dog there for more than 1 year. I am delighted with your services of both Grooming and daycare. My dog gets excited every time I take him to daycare. Added evidence of a boarding.

This boarding facility boards ferrets :) They were my saving grace for one of my weekend trips. At the time I called them they were busy so I left a voicemail and they later sent me a message. They answered all my questions and what I really appreciated is that they were accommodating to my pet’s needs and my requirements. It was very relieving since I was very stressed to leave him to be taken care of by anyone else. We had a few snags on the online scheduling because he’s a special type of boarding case (not a dog or cat) but they were very quick and nice to help me get scheduled. They have a pretty nice pet scheduling system. Also they offer a very affordable rate for “pocket” animals which is great and seals the deal for me. Honestly I had a great experience and will use them again in the future.
