About Canine Design Midtown
Located at 145 Hillcrest Dr Ste G, Reno, NV 89509, Canine Design Midtown operates as a pet groomer serving Reno in Nevada. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Reno, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Nevada, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–4 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Canine Design Midtown at (775) 826-2525; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, canine-design.com.
Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 85 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Reno.
Reno is in Nevada, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. Getting around Reno is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Nevada's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I've been going here for 5 years now, Heather is the groomer for my two shih tzu and I believe she does a wonderful job. She's quick and makes my dogs look amazing.

I have been going to Melinda for several years and could not be happier. She is an absolute pro not only in her craft, but in making the dogs feel safe. Yesterday she had Biggie for the first time and it went great. He looks and smells great and knows it :) BTW, her prices are incredibly reasonable. Thanks Melinda!

Rachel who owns Nevada Natural Dogs inside of Canine Design Midtown does a fantastic job! Rachel is really nice and listens to what you want. My dog is a coton de tulear and Rachel always does a fabulous job with her shaping. My dog is always happy after as well. I don't see myself going anywhere else.

Eryne is AMAZING! I adopted three, sometimes skittish, shelter dogs from CRCS rescue and I was so nervous to leave them with a groomer. Eryne was comfortable and confident right from the start. She always finds away to fit all three in for an appointment, and she does a wonderful job. The dogs look forward to our visits. I highly recommend Eryne and Canine Design!

So kind of them to squeeze my Gracie in with no appointment and I know they were busy. I was traveling in our RV and my Morkey was pretty matted. Wish I had a before picture but she’s all cleaned up now. Thank you Canine Design Mudtown
