In Midland, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Texas, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Midland is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Midland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I've brought my dog here twice, but I'm never bringing her back. I had a great first experience. However, yesterday I dropped off my dog at 9:50am for her 10 o'clock grooming appointment. They told me she'd be ready between 2:30-4 pm which was taking way longer than what I was comfortable with. The first time I took her it was a 2.5 hour turn around time which was fantastic plus the reason I wanted to return. I asked them to notify me in advance since I live 25 min away. I called at 3:50pm and asked what time I could get her because I was sitting in the parking lot waiting. I hadn't heard anything until I called to ask what the deal was. They scrambled saying she's probably almost done but they'd have to see if she was on the groom table. I'm not stupid I know they were probably just starting on her which made me nervous they were going to rush and hurt her. I was told she was almost ready but I didn't get a text for pick up till 4:30pm. When I got to the parking lot at 3pm I saw someone who dropped off their dog at the SAME time I did pick her dog up at 3pm. I understand people get behind, but I should not have to call to remind you to groom my dog. I'm not happy with the services

Julie has been cutting my mini schnauzer's hair for years now and I won't go anywhere else! He's very anxious but loves her and always comes out looking great!

We’ve had such a great experience with this grooming service! Both Kane annd Lilly always come back looking amazing—clean, well-groomed, and happy. You can tell they really take their time and care about the details. We’ve been very happy every visit and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable groomer!

Tobar’s dog grooming is exceptional. We love this place. Our dog has always had anxiety going to a dog groomer. These people really take care of your pets. I read a post that someone put and I am sorry that they had that experience, but we have had nothing but exceptional service with towbar’s They have a very nice clean facility and once again my dog comes back to us very happy rather than shaking. The ladies that work here are super friendly and nice. You can tell they have a love for pets. I highly recommend going to Tobar’s
