WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Not for doodles at least! Shaved my pup claiming he was matted TWICE. The first time I let it happen because I am not the professional although my dog is brushed throughly everyday his hair is just very thick curly and kinky. I asked for his ear hair to be plucked or trimmed and they claimed they couldn’t. The second time I told them to please call me if they wanted to shave him again and they didn’t and proceeded to shave him. Decided to take him to a different spot and asked them if they thought the hair was too long (same length I always take him at) and they said no absolutely not. And the other place left my pup gorgeous and soft! I also took him to the vet 2 days before this grooming appointment and they told me he was not matted. Not sure if it’s a work ethic issue, for a while I through maybe he is matted but it clearly was not the isssue. Will not be coming back. The first picture is how they left him TWICE. the second is the excellent work other groomers were able to do with no problem. Both places charged me same price as well.

I recently switched groomers, and I’m so glad I found Velvet Paw Lounge! 🐾🤍 Everyone has been so kind, patient, and caring, and you can really tell they genuinely love the dogs they work with. A special thank you to Rachel for taking such amazing care of my 2 pups and making them look absolutely adorable. It means so much to have someone I can truly trust with them.❤️

This is the second time we have taken our pup to get her hair cut. They are amazing and patient with her since it has been her first professional grooming. She came out so cute and followed what I wanted for her.

This was my first time taking my dog to a pet grooming salon. I compared many salons before choosing this one. When I went to pick up my dog three hours later, I was so pleasantly surprised! I loved this salon! The haircut looked exactly like the dog figurine in my car. Although I don't speak English, the staff were very patient and communicated with me smoothly. Thank you so much! I will definitely choose you again in the future.☺️

We have found our new go-to Dog grooming salon! This place is so cute and full of character. From the amazing pink marble like flooring, to the cute and funny pictures hanging on the walls. The "waiting" rooms when the pups are finished is a nice touch and the coffee/treat bar is another small detail that just fits so well. All the employees I met were extremely nice, and looked liked they really enjoyed being there, and cherish what they do. Thank you all for taking care of my older pup. ❤️
