The Stone Dog Salon

The Stone Dog Salon is one of the pet groomers listed in Reno, Nevada. The business is registered at 3920 Mayberry Dr, Reno, NV 89519; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–4 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (775) 747-7300. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, stonedogsalon.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 62 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Reno and suggests consistent service.

Reno is in Nevada, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Reno follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.
