We highly recommend K9 training. Little dogs need training too and they trained our Boston Terrier that was out of control. They did the impossible and the results really make a big difference in our day-to-day lives. They have exceptional customer service, are knowledgeable, patient, and clearly care about helping both dogs and owners succeed. The best part was that they not only trained our dog but also taught us how to continue the training and maintain discipline at home to create a lasting healthy relationship with our dog. We loved their method and results so much we now board our dog with their team when we go on vacation. I recommend them to anyone, and frankly can’t imagine not training my dogs going forward.

I waited a while to write this review. My pup finished her training here months ago, almost a year. These trainers are GOATED!! I went to another “force free” trainer before here and my Cane Corso chose when to listen and that usually meant any situation I NEEDED her to listen in, she wouldn’t. My house was chaos with her trying to chase the cat constantly to play and me not having control over her and this was AFTER already working with another trainer. I wanted to address some reviews I’ve seen here and relay my experience. When I first got my pup you could see she was a bit timid and “off” but you have to realize what she just went through. She got dropped off (in her eyes abandoned forever I imagine) and then was put to work. She essentially went to boot camp. With that said, within 1-2 weeks she was right back to the same dog that we sent her back as BUTTTTT she actually listens, and listens EXTREMELY well. When outside and given the free command she turns into that crazy playful pup she was before but she knows when to turn it off. They also increased her confidence a lot. Cane Corsos are naturally really timid when pups but I believe they helped break that & build her c

The K9 Training team here is amazing!! From the owners to the trainers, they are all such great people who love to help dog owners. We brought our 1 year old German shepherd mix in who was very anxious and skittish. He is a rescue who was terrified of all loud noises and any object he didn’t immediately recognize. He would cower at strangers when they came around and bark at people who came to the house until he recognized them. The team here took our Teddy in and taught him so many things! He came out a different dog! After showing us the ropes on how to be a proper handler, Teddy has trust in us and has more freedom than ever. He still has all the same cute and silly traits, but now has some new awesome skills! We never had experience with e-collars, so we were hesitant at first but we admit now that it is an amazing addition to his training. Chris let us put the collar on our arms and feel the tens unit ourselves upon pick up because he knew I was uncertain about it. They talked us through the levels that Teddy used while in training and the level that he is normally at on the collar. They made sure that we were confident as handlers as they know that’s how Teddy will trust us

I had such a great experience with The K9 Training Academy Orlando! From the beginning, they were so patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about helping my dog succeed. My dog, Gisele, learned all the basic commands like "sit," "stay," "down," "place," and "no," and I could really see the difference in her behavior. She is a puppy so she completed the obedience level 1. They took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me tips I could continue practicing at home. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. I will definitely go back to an advanced training when my dog is ready for it. If you're looking for someone who is professional, kind, and truly invested in your dog's success, I highly recommend them.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible experience we had with Richard and his team at The K9 Training Academy. From our very first session, it was clear that they genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. Our dog Luke has such a strong personality we were worried he would be to stubborn for any trainer. But we are now so happy and confident with your pup and can’t wait to take him to the next level with this amazing team. One thing I really appreciated is how they welcomed us into their K9 family, overall I highly recommend them and recommend checking their YouTube channel.
