Mike has been absolutely amazing turning my dog around! Words are not enough to express the immense tension its taken off my shoulders working with him. We rescued our dog not knowing anything about him except he was dumped and abandoned.. Well came to find, while hes so loving to use, he is very protective and could be aggressive to others. Mike is not the 1st trainer I've worked with on these issues but hes done the most, really above and beyond. The last trainer tough him all the basics, but didn't help me understand how to manage the dogs emotions and reactions.. When Mike 1st met my dog, my dog would bark, lunge and not let Mike even take over the leash to train. But Mike told us what to do and walked us through the 1st session without even picking up the leash because my dog wouldn't have it. The dog was stubborn when it came to stranger danger. By the end of the 2nd session (a lot sooner than expected) he was able to take the leash and work with him and now my dogs so happy to see him everytime we train together. And during sessions hes constantly meeting new people and dogs, and is doing amazing! I actually get compliments on how good he is!!! It's not the initial however

Mike had not trained with our dog in 3 years(our fault) He met with us and in 10 minutes had Chief listening to his commands and performing amazing. Mike has an incredible skill when training dogs and we would 100% recommend his services. Just remember it’s people training too and you must remain diligent. Looking forward to the next session. Thank you Mike

Mike is an amazing trainer! He knows dogs and has been working with them for over 24 years. He has helped our shy, withdrawn dog learn to be more social as well as assisted us with our relationship with her. Can’t say enough good things about Mike!!

Hiring Mike is the best thing we ever did for our dog. Adopting him at 6 years old, he came into our lives very reactive - people, others, and bikes. Once we saw how well Mike’s dog behaved, we signed ours up for Board & Train. He came back to us, a completely different dog. He smiled, he listened, and now we can walk him in the neighborhood without the fear and embarrassment for him going nuts. In fact, he now wants to meet the other dogs and play with them! I cannot recommend the K9 Coach enough

Highly recommend Mike the K9 Coach for anyone needing dog training in the Sarasota / Bradenton area. We’ve been attending Mike’s group classes regularly for over a year now and have seen him work with all kinds of dogs — he truly understands them. We adopted our dog Benji when he was 7 years old. He was nervous, reactive, and would lunge at neighbors and other dogs during walks. It got to the point where we couldn’t deal with it anymore and started looking for a trainer. We met with a few different trainers but chose Mike after the first meeting, and we’re so glad we did. It’s been a night and day difference for Benji. Now, we can walk him through the neighborhood without any issues, and we even flew with him through the airport with no problems at all. We still go to class both to reinforce the training and because Benji genuinely enjoys seeing Mike. Thanks, Mike — you've changed all our lives for the better.
