About The Doggy Den

The Doggy Den is a full feature daycare and grooming facility for our canine companions. Our boarding service is exclusive to our regular Pack Members who join us for daycare regularly. We are located in Columbus, Ohio just east of down town. We are close to DeVry University, Capital University and the community of Bexley. At The Doggy Den we strive to provide a safe, clean, and fun environment where our furry guests can enjoy their day, while their owners are away!

Located at 1910 Memory Ln, Columbus, OH 43209, The Doggy Den operates as a pet groomer serving Columbus in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under dog day care center, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 6:30 am–6:30 pm. The doggie den is truly amazing! Between always a friendly, smiling, cheerful face when I come at any point in time to a dog that jumps over me to get inside, we love it! On more than one occasion we have had emergencies come up with the family. They've been exceptionally accommodating and we always feel like we can trust him being there. That peace of mind is so valuable! I cannot recommend doggy then enough!

We have been going here for almost 10 years and we absolutely love this place! Staff is so friendly and good with the animals! The facility is very clean and we love that they have so much room to run around. We have boarded many times as well and never had a bad experience or worried about our animals there. Highly recommend!

I have been struggling to get a good groomer for my babies! I was starting to lose hope, every groomer had cut too much off my little shih tzus face! My shih ended up looking like a snchauzzer mix 😂, my little girl rumi is very easy to groom and she is compliant so I know that was not the issue. I also showed them a picture of what i wanted and simple instructions. Every groomer I went to just kept cutting too much from her face, I wanted her face round an a top knot! Everyone kept doing the opposite and by everyone i mean 3 groomers, because I've only taken her to 3! So I am just being dramatic. Anyway, i came across Val she is a groomer at the doggy den and this girl knows how to groom, I dont know how long she has been grooming, but her work speaks for itself. She got the look i wanted for My little Rumi, she looks like a princess. I cant wait to take my other shih tzu to her. STRONGLY recommend Val! She is amazing. Will be very clear with you and provide realistic expectations for the cut. I will continue to go back to her forever. If she ever leaves Doggy den I'll follow her to her new job too 😂

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Doggy Den Team Our German Shepherd, Bella, has been a beloved member of the Doggy Den pack for nearly seven years. She absolutely adores her human and doggy friends there and eagerly looks forward to her three visits each week. For an active dog like Bella—and with "senior citizen" parents—having a safe, secure, and loving place where she can exercise, RUN, and socialize has been invaluable. Recently, due to my husband's surgery and hospital stay, we needed to board Bella at the Den. When his recovery required an extended stay, Kris and the entire Doggy Den team went above and beyond to accommodate us with kindness and flexibility. Bella’s feeding routine is a bit more complex, as she requires a pancreatic enzyme to be mixed with her canned food, followed by a waiting period before her dry food is added. The staff handled her medication and feeding needs with exceptional care, ensuring everything was done correctly. When Bella returned home after her nine-day stay, she was happy, healthy, and full of energy. And today, she was just as excited to return for daycare—her enthusiasm said it all! A heartfelt thank you to Kris and the entire Doggy Den tea
