The Crate Escape

My dog loves daycare at the crate escape! His excitement when I pick him up shows me exactly what I need to know. The workers are very friendly and have even offered to open 10 minutes early when I have early shifts. Not sure what I would do without this place! Worth every penny.

Took my large furry dog there for grooming today. He came back to me cooler, more comfortable, and as handsome as ever. He got to spend a few hours with the daycare crew, too. The Crate Escape treated him well and I was comfortable leaving him there.

If there was a way for me to give this establishment 0 Stars I would. I have two highly energetic Australian Shepards whom need to run and burn off some steam. This past weekend I signed my two dogs up for daycare and boarding, while me and my now wife had our wedding reception. When I messaged the owner about availability she said, "absolutely, not a problem" so Friday we dropped them off, I said I would pick them up Sunday afternoon, she said a volunteer would be here to give them to me and she would invoice me Monday, not a problem. We got photos on Friday of them having fun, (don't fall for it) Saturday no photos which we assumed they simply forgot to post. Then Sunday nothing. I went to get the dogs at 1:35, when I arrived no one was there. I called the number on the building 3 times. No response, so I texted the owner. She said pickup is at 8 or 5 on Sundays. At no point was I told this. I said "I live 30 minutes away, could one of the volunteers come down to let them out". Which I was told prior. She said someone is on their way, 2:00 rolls around still nothing. I call, no response. I text asking for an ETA of the Volunteer. She said "I do not have one". 40 minutes comes ar

If only I could give this "alleged" groomer a negative review! Many groomers do not groom cats--I wish the Crate Escape didn't either! I had the appointment for my cat to have a "full groom" about a month in advance but the groomer wasn't there yet. When I made the appointment I asked many questions because I wanted to be clear on what I was getting. I wanted the cat bathed, clipped, ears cleaned, nails cut and his paws shaved between his toes. I was assured that all of that would be done. I specified that he needed his sanitary area cleaned and clipped for sure because his hair is so long that he is unable to groom that area properly and is always dirty there. Aside from the owner, the receptionist was the only other person working because their "Cat Whisperer" (the receptionist's words) had a car issue and called off; but the receptionist said that she could help the owner with my cat and they'd get it done. She said that the owner was on her way in at this time. Since the owner/groomer still wasn't there, I left a written list with the receptionist stating exactly what I wanted done (see above) and I left and left the cat there in his carrier. I made a couple stops after

Was looking for a local, small business groomer to switch to and came across Crate Escape. Reviews and photos seemed great and decided to give them a try. Everything went so smooth from initial contact to pickup. I really appreciate the ability to schedule via text. They were even able to get my doodle in same week! I met the owner, Kyrie, and groomer, Sam, and both were super friendly and helpful. I gave a vague description of how I wanted our Savannah girl to look and they nailed it. She looks and smells beautiful!! Will continue to have her groomed there and may explore daycare and boarding services in the future 🩵
