34th st location: Exceptional service from an amazing staff! If you’re looking for a place that treats your pets like royalty and are absolute dog lovers, then this is the place for you. They definitely love on your babies like their own and my dogs love every bit of it. Getting the membership with them is a must.

I was informed today that I cannot return to Tailored Tails because I complained about how long the service took the last time I had my dog groomed.. I had been going there for over a year, my dog had been groomed at least 6 times. They also said I was never happy, why I have no idea! Each time I went back I asked to trim my dog closer in the face! I guess that constitutes never happy. Major changes of personel occurred about a year ago and when I was confused about who was grooming my dog and questioned it, they decided that was not acceptable. The sad part is that they groom well. I guess business is good and they don’t want to contend with anyone who complains or questions their practices.

Professional groomer of 10 years; came to Aaryn to up my grooming skills. Aaryn gladly accepted to train and actually traveled to me. She truly cares about sharing her knowledge and making sure others around her are knowledgeable about dog behavior, dog handling, and beautiful haircuts. She is an absolute pleasure to work with; absolutely skilled, knowledgeable, and 100% dedicated to her work. Her prices are higher than most but you get what you pay for. If you want a “groom” and just want to hit up a new shop this week this isn’t the shop for you. NOW If you want a show-quality groom and you **don’t mind** paying for it, and going through the extra steps of getting onto the books of this lovely establishment , and letting the team get to know you and your dog and building a long time groomer-dog-owner relationship built on communication and trust between one another. Then THIS place is the spot for you. TOP QUALITY AND UN MATCHED. Any one complaining is because they thought this was a regular grooming shop. This is certainly something different in Lubbock entirely. Keep going Aaryn 🫶🏼

Absolutely, terrible service and waste of time. Tried to set an appointment and was told I needed a consultation appointment first. Fine, so I brought my dog in and answered all the questions and let the groomer and desk attendant meet and play with my dog. This was on a Thursday and I set my appointment for Saturday morning when asked if I had my pets shot records, I said no, and was repeatedly told that they could contact the vet for me to verify shot records was told no less than five times. They would contact the vet for the shot records. When I showed up on Saturday morning, they informed me they had just now tried to contact the vet on Saturday morning when the vet is closed. They had two days to contact the vet during normal business hours and waited until one minute before my appointment on the weekend and since they were unable to reach the vet after normal business hours, they refused my appointment and said they can’t be responsible for that despite promising me five times they would take care of that and it wasn’t an issue that I didn’t have my records. They told me even their website says it’s my responsibility no matter what they say. Absolutely horrible service zero

We love Tailored Tails. They have been great with my geriatric poodle mix, my poodle mix puppy for her first grooms, and my nippy Chihuahua. We moved there from another salon in town. We didn’t have a “problem” with it, they were just so busy my older dog had to stay in a kennel for most of the day. She loved to look pretty and smell good but she HATED being left at the groomer. When we moved to tailored tails her attitude about going to the groomer was better — even though she still hated being left there. We love the self bathing option. Having your own cubicle is an amazing option!! I also love the half day option at the puppy daycare next door if I can’t pick them up immediately. It makes me feel good that they aren’t stuck on n a kennel all day waiting on us. .
