Dr. Hendrix was excellent....had a kitty with a broken tooth. Took her in as a drop off and within hours Dr. Hendrix called me with treatment plan...picked her up at 5pm without issues. The remaining root was taken out surgically. No complications and within an hour of arriving home, she was having her dinner!

I wanted to take a moment to thank the wonderful staff of SLPH, especially Dr. Hendrix for his kindness and honesty. I have a 12.5 yr old pug who although relatively healthy is starting to slow down. I took this little gentleman in when he was about 5. Now, having a pug is a world and an education in itself, and there are things I just didn't feel confident or knowledgeable about (IVDD) I drove from the Woodlands/Spring for his recent annual exam, shots, and a consultation on navigating this senior stage. Dr. Hendrix thoroughly discussed the weakening of the back legs and how it is different from arthritis, options for medications and most of all giving me a partner in this journey. If you have a senior pet, you understand. I don't know if my little man has a year or 5 years left but I want to make him comfortable and happy and to be able to continue our adventures together. SLPH thank you.

This is going to be a long appreciation/testimony post: I absolutely LOVE SLPH! They treat all animals with so much care and love. I have been coming here for a few years now and I stumbled across them by deep diving online and looking for a caring vet during a very important time for my dog. All of the doctors are absolutely amazing and they care for everyone’s baby like it’s their own. I have to give a personal shoutout to Dr. Parks, she is so sweet, caring, kind, compassionate and just overall amazing. Dr. Parks is the reason my dog is still alive today. She was able to catch my dog’s mouth cancer in the earlier stage, refer me out and guide me with whatever I needed. It was a super scary process and not knowing how everything would go, the surgery, healing process and even having to be patient and teach my baby to learn to eat all over again. When we went back to SLPH years after the surgery for a normal checkup we were blessed to see Dr. Parks again and she had the biggest smile on her face when she saw Jade, it was a full circle moment. I got to tell her all about Jade’s success and how well she is doing and that she is 100% cancer free till this day. I can’t thank Dr. Parks

From the moment I called their office, I knew Jax was going to be in good hands. The staff was kind, professional, and very reassuring during a stressful time. When we arrived, Dr. Hendricks and his team continued that same level of care and compassion. Dr. Hendricks took the time to thoroughly explain Jax’s surgery, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with everything. The surgery went smoothly, and Jax received excellent care from start to finish. I’m so grateful for Dr. Hendricks and his amazing team. Their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine love for animals truly show. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care! 🐾

I’ve been bringing my dog Ruby to Dr. Floyd at SLPH since 2014, and I can’t say enough good things about her and the entire team. Dr. Floyd is incredibly kind, patient, and has a wonderful bedside manner. She always helps Ruby (and me!) feel calm during visits, no matter how anxious we are walking in. She’s responsive on the pet portal, thoughtful in her recommendations, and consistently follows up after procedures or acute issues. I know many clinics do this, but her personal touch and genuine care really stand out and mean so much to us. The staff at SLPH is also fantastic—responsive, organized, and quick to help with appointment requests or clinical questions. The office is clean, and while wait times are usually short, even on the rare occasion there’s a wait, it’s absolutely worth it. I should’ve written this review long ago, but Dr. Floyd and the team truly deserve the recognition. I still drive 30 minutes each way because I trust them completely with Ruby’s care. Highly, highly recommend!
