About Studio Canine
Located at 3901 Louisiana Blvd NE # D, Albuquerque, NM 87110, Studio Canine operates as a pet groomer serving Albuquerque in New Mexico. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Studio Canine at (505) 830-9123; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 70 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Albuquerque and suggests consistent service.
Albuquerque is in New Mexico, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Albuquerque follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

You could search the world high and low and not find a more excellent grooming salon for every breed of dog! Hannah and her team are professional, kind and award winning. And the salon is award winning for a reason. Their ability to receive input and solve any concerns for their clients is exceptional and your dog will be treated like a king or queen. I never had to be concerned when I drop off our girl because I know she receives tender care and great products and precise technique. It is a bonus that my dog will be the most beautiful poodle in town!! A Poodle/Doodle Mom

The first groom my standard poodle got here was awesome, so I went back and he got one of the worst grooms of his life and easily the worst in my 19 years of having poodles. When we were walking out, he had a long clump of hair hanging from between his legs. I pointed it out and the groomer clipped it, missing all of the other clumps of hair that she left behind. When I got him home, I was able to assess many more uneven and shabby looking pieces all over his entire body. When I called to talk to Studio Canine, I was treated very poorly, insulted, and experienced an unprofessional attitude all around. I was disgusted and disappointed. I hate the snotty behavior I experienced. They clearly look down on their customers and are very judgmental. I’d fire that person I talked to, as well as the mediocre and inexperienced groomer if they worked for me, because they are straight-up ruining this business. I don’t have a poodle because I’m some sort of snob, which is what I experienced from the woman in charge. She tried to upstage me, claiming she knew better because she had 20 years of experience with poodles. Well, if you have that much experience, you should be able to see when a dog l

I’ve been taking both my dogs to this groomer for four years and always trusted them with their care. Unfortunately, things have taken a drastic turn for the worse recently. Not only has their attitude become increasingly rude and dismissive, but during one of our last visits, my pet suffered a horrifying injury—a cut all the way across his eye. This is not just an accident; it’s a reflection of carelessness and neglect. To make matters worse, there was no sincere apology or effort to take responsibility for what happened. After years of loyalty, this experience has left me heartbroken and furious. I cannot recommend this groomer anymore. Safety, professionalism, and kindness should be non-negotiable when working with pets, and they have failed in all these areas. Please think twice before trusting them with your furry family members.
