Don’t book here. My daughters and I all hated the lomi lomi relaxation massages because they were far from relaxing. We received some of the most painful, uncomfortable massages of our lives. The therapists used their full body weight on our pressure points and continued even after we asked for lighter pressure. It felt more like torture than relaxation. This was a complete waste of money, and I would never return or recommend this place to anyone.

We had massages here and they were average, like it wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t great. Medium pressure felt like light and the areas of concern weren’t really focused on much. We finished the massages feeling like we barely did anything. For the price you’re paying you’d expect a much better service and overall experience. The two stars are because it was overlooking the ocean which can be quite relaxing. In addition, the cherry on top is how we were forced to give a specific amount of tips, the message therapist was literally watching over us as we were signing and asked us to change the tip amount. Tips everywhere are appreciated, not expected, and they sure as hell shouldn’t be requested for a specific amount. The overall situation made us feel very uncomfortable. Definitely not coming back.

I was quoted $210 on the phone for the Hawaiian + scalp massage and ended up being charged $219 without tip (229 with). Prices were raised without the website being updated. My masseuse was late so I was left sitting in the waiting room in nothing but a robe on while people passed through which was very uncomfortable for me. The massage was mediocre at best, I kept asking for more pressure and even with firm pressure it wasn’t much. The scalp massage left me with chunks of my hair coming out when it was done. Hands down one of the worst spa experiences I’ve had.

Old place. Needs a renovation. $210 for 80 minutes plus tip. Massage itself was good but room sort of cold and old. Music playing from one speaker in the room that went on and off. Can hear people in lobby talking. In each dressing room there is a dry spa and a steam sauna. In women’s room they weren’t even on. No hot tub

My husband and I both really enjoyed our massages here. We booked a month prior to our trip. We opted for the 30 minute massage. We were placed in separate cabanas - there was no way to put two people in the same cabana - but we were made aware of this at the time we booked the massage and the cabanas are next to each other. We also got a call the day prior to our massage telling us where to park and where to go. The cabanas are right next to the beach and you can hear the waves during the massage. The cabanas are located on the more private side of the hotel but you still have people walking by who can see into the cabana. They closed the cabanas completely in order for me to get undressed and get on the table and under the blanket. Once the massage began, the cabana was open on two sides. My massage was fantastic. I wanted to focus mainly on my upper back, and my massage therapist did, but he also massaged the rest of my body as well. We began right on time and my therapist was very communicative with me and asked twice how the pressure was. He also used my name several times which I appreciated. The only negative was that the cabana got a little hot and I wish they had opened al
