I can’t recommend Tony enough! Choosing him to train my Yorkie, Amore, was truly one of the best decisions I’ve made. As a first-time dog owner, I had no experience, so investing in training with Tony has been the best investment I could have made. Yorkies are known for being stubborn, so I was honestly shocked by how much Amore learned after just our very first training session. She picked up so many commands, and seeing how calm and well behaved she was in public, especially for a 7 month old puppy, was honestly so impressive. From day one, it was clear how patient, knowledgeable, and passionate he is about what he does. He pays attention to the smallest details, quickly spots behaviors that need correcting, and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand and apply at home or in public. You can truly tell how much Tony cares about every dog and wants every owner to have a happy, well behaved dog. He’s always happy to answer questions, explain why he’s doing something, and make sure you feel confident continuing the training at home. I honestly couldn’t be happier with my decision to work with him, and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer who truly loves

I sent my dog Teddy to their 2 week board and train program for obedience training and had a great experience. They did an awesome job with him and the 5 follow up classes really helped me understand how to keep up with the training at home. Highly recommend!

I’ve had such a great experience working with our trainer, Chris! He’s super patient, easy to work with, and has helped us make a ton of progress with leash control, reactivity, and desensitization training. He always takes the time to explain why certain techniques work and really cares about helping both the dog and owner succeed. Coco 🐩and I really grateful for all the progress we’ve made with his help!!!

Highly recommend! Helped us potty train and eight year old Morky in 3 sessions! People said it couldn’t be done. Gracie is house trained and Rocco is getting an obedience refresh. Tony is also helping us manage two dogs that are used to being the only dog in the household.

Thank you Smart Start Puppies and thank you Julie, Tony and the whole team for making me finally have my DREAM dog. It was a pleasure to work with you guy’s and we had a lot of fun doing it too. Stop searching for different options and use these guys, you’ll be amazed at the results. My family and I did their boot camp program and what a change in my families lives. Before this experience we were, fed up with Roco, arguing amongst our selves and not to mention, very frustrated with the choice of even adopting Roco. This company made it all come together easily and peacefully. Roco went away for 2 weeks and then Smart Start Puppies came to our home after, I couldn’t believe the change in our household, we couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you again, till our next dog.
