It works!! This is the best obedience training course I’ve ever experienced! I opted for the one-on-one sessions with a trainer for my 2 yr old terrier and I’m so happy I did. The training is simple and it just makes sense. It’s been very easy to stay consistent with their at-home instructions, too. I love that they follow up and you can ask any questions that come up between sessions. I feel very supported by the staff and my dog is a perfect gentleman after only 4 sessions. Strangers even comment on how well behaved and well mannered he is when we’re out! It’s been amazing watching my dog’s confidence blossom both inside and outside our (very quiet, bark-free) home. Huge thank you to everyone at Sit Means Sit!

The instructors were excellent and fun. My problem was the collar was not explained well and i did not realize I was using a shock collar! It was a fun experience and the trainers were great with my dog. Moose learned fast. The trainers were very loving with my dog. I was not told there would be group classes, but it is a good idea. It was extremely expensive but nothing is too good for Moose.

Sit Means Sit has helped our family tremendously with the training of our 10 month old Golden, Freddie! We worked with Ryan and from the moment we met him, it was great vibes, he did an excellent job of explaining all the options and what we should expect. We went with the boarding and training program while our family was on vacation and Ryan provided frequent update messages, pics and videos. When Freddie was brought back to us, the improvement in his behavior and listening to commands was mind blowing. He’s still the same fun and loving dog he was, just a much better listener and has some manners now. We are extremely satisfied with our decision to work with Sit Means Sit OC and Ryan was the perfect fit for training Freddie.

We enrolled our two Labradoodles, Bailey and Cosmo, in the 20-day board and train program at Sit Means Sit OC, and the results have been amazing. Before training, walks were stressful. Both dogs were very reactive around other dogs, with lots of barking, lunging, and leash pulling. We had tried other training programs, but even high-value treats couldn't get their attention once they became fixated. During our consultation, Cindy took the time to explain the program and answer all of our questions. We were initially hesitant about e-collars, but after Cindy explained how they work and let us feel the stimulation ourselves, we realized they were nothing like we had imagined. They are simply a communication tool and not meant to hurt our dogs. Chris and Ryan did an incredible job with Bailey and Cosmo. Their behavior, focus, recall, and leash manners have improved tremendously, and walks are now much more enjoyable. What we love most is that the training doesn't stop after the board and train. The follow-up lessons are invaluable because they teach us, as dog owners, how to continue the training at home. Daniel was fantastic during our one-on-one sessions, helping us with any con

We’ve now had three sessions with Sit Means Sit Dog Training, and this was our first in-home lesson with Ryan—easily the most impactful one yet. We started our training journey with Jason for the first two sessions, and he did an amazing job laying the foundation for Luke. Those initial lessons set the tone and gave us the fundamentals we needed to build on. Our dog Luke has been a challenge, especially with reactivity, and our biggest fear has always been how he might respond in public. We’ve worked with other trainers before, but never felt like we had a clear path forward. After working with both Jason and Ryan at Sit Means Sit, that’s completely changed. Ryan took everything to the next level during the in-home session. His level of control, patience, and awareness inside our home environment made a huge difference. He didn’t just work with Luke—he showed us how to properly communicate, create structure, and lead him in our everyday setting, which is exactly what we were missing. This session really connected the dots for us. We’re starting to see real progress, but more importantly, we now have confidence in what we’re doing and how to keep building on it. We know there’s
