Sherlock Hound Denver

I can’t say enough great things about Sherlock Hound! My dog is extremely picky and has refused to eat kibble for years. I’ve been trying to transition him from canned food to dry food with no success, and I was honestly running out of ideas. The owner was absolutely amazing. She even locked the door for a few minutes so my dog could safely roam around the store while she spoiled him with treats and helped us find food he might actually like. You can tell she genuinely cares about dogs and takes the time to get to know each one. To my surprise, the dry food she sent us home with has been a huge success. For the first time ever, my dog is actually excited to eat kibble! I couldn’t believe it. The level of care, knowledge, and personal attention we received was incredible. Sherlock Hound has earned a customer for life, and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with picky dogs.

Came into this store looking for a dog harness for our new puppy Teddy but left with so much than that! Judith was so friendly and knowledgeable and treated Teddy like he was one of her own. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the Denver area looking for a pet store that really cares about your pets!!

Popped into Sherlock Hound while waiting to pick up lunch next door. Judith was so warm and welcoming and upon finding out it was my first time in the store, she hooked it up with a free chew treat for my pup! Support this place at all costs ❤️

Sherlock Hound is a neighborhood fixture, an absolute gem. Judith, the Grand Hu-Ha and Gwen, the Buyer are such lovely, charming ladies. They always have a robust selection of healthy and creative treats and toys. I buy all my dog food here because I trust their products, the prices are very competitive and I want my Frenchie to have the absolute best. They also carry a lot of frozen dead animal products like bison soup bones. This is what a local pet store should feel like. Authentic, caring and in it for love of animals. We must do everything we can to keep our local businesses thriving. Shop small. Always.

If the famed detective Sherlock Holmes had a penchant for all things canine, I can envision him frequenting Sherlock Hound Pet Deli. This store isn't just a place to grab a dog treat, it's an experience. A delightful and heartwarming one at that. From the moment you step in, it's evident that owner & staff (Gwen and Judith) aren't merely in this business for profit – they exude genuine passion for animals and their human companions. They radiate a kindness that is both rare and deeply touching. The care and attention they shower upon every customer and pet is a testament to their commitment and love for what they do. In today's era of fast-paced commerce, Gwen and Judith serve as exemplary figures of how business should be conducted: with heart, sincerity, and an unwavering focus on the well-being of the customers. Now, let's talk about the quality of the products. Every treat I've purchased from Sherlock Hound has been of unparalleled freshness and quality. They are evident laborers of love, concocted with thoughtfulness and premium ingredients that my dog absolutely adores. Their toys? Durable and fun, easily capturing the interests of even the most discerning of pups. What fu
