In Colorado Springs, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Colorado, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Colorado Springs is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Colorado Springs follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We love Shampoodles! Our two dogs always look so good after visiting with Leanne. We love that there aren’t a bunch of other dogs barking and making it more stressful for them. And Leanne is always very patient with our Fred, who has separation anxiety. She’s very calm and settles him right down. We’re so grateful - we’re regulars!

I have brought my little terrier mix pup here for a number of years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The owner not only does an amazing cut, but she is kind with my pup. It’s quiet and calm inside and my very nervous dog isn’t scared at all to get her hair cut. Very professional! Best groomer I have ever used!!!

If you have a Poodle/Doodle you need to work with Shampoodles. They run a clean, and professional shop. Our poodle Penny loves it there and always comes out looking her best! See the before and after results for yourself!

My dogs are very finicky when it comes to getting groomed. One of my dogs is terrible with nails but she was still able to get his nails mostly trimmed. It was really impressive. One of my biggest pet peeves is coming to pick up our dogs and they are still wet and have so much fur coming off of them. This was NOT the case here! They were dry, fur looked amazing and felt so soft. I think she did a wonderful job and she squeezed us in right away too. I highly recommend this place.

We are new to the city and I was having a hard time finding a groomer for our toy poodle Winston. Shampoodles got back to me with appointment times right away and though his grooming here is about $20 more than we paid in the Midwest- he looked very handsome and was happy when he was picked up. We will be regulars here for sure!
