Fur & Feathers Pet Grooming

My first visit here with my feline baby went pretty badly. The staff was kind however they state they’re appointment only and do not clarify that only means you’re guaranteed being seen at some time that day. I showed up 10 minutes beforehand for paperwork and there were 4 other pet parents showing up to check in at the same time with only the owner behind the counter. She checked us all out in a timely manner. I informed her that he gets overwhelmed easily, it was only his second grooming ever, and was assured she deals with lots of cats so he’d be okay but that it would be a while. Awhile turned into 6 hours and nearly 30 minutes before I finally received any word from them and they stated that he was being too aggressive to get a single thing done. I was also told on the phone that I would need to get him sedatives or medication to get him groomed there. They attempted giving him a break and coming back to him but they started the grooming on his stomach after he was locked in his crate for who knows how long so of course he was uncomfortable. When I arrived to pick him up he was in his crate on the floor of the lobby alone and unattended which was completely unsafe and unprofes

Took my dog in for a bath with ear and teeth cleaning and a nail trim. She does smell good and her breath is better but nails and ears are still pretty rough. Also the prices posted online are about $20-$25 lower than their "updated prices", that aren't posted anywhere. So I was very surprised by the $60 bill on my short-hair, 12lb, dog grooming. I asked about the high price and was told they are the cheapest in the area so I called Le Paw Spa down the street as I walked out and was quoted $45. Owner seems very nice and very good with the animals but I don't do business with a place that knows their prices are wrong online and doesn't make sure customers know the correct price.

I’ve been coming to this place for a while for grooming needs for my parakeet, and I’ve never been let down. Christy takes great care of the animals here and is incredibly gentle with birds. If I could give more stars I would.

Owner, Christy, and her staff, Raven, are both so nice. Raven spent so long with me explaining details that many wouldn't be patient enough for. They handle our pets really well and one can see how skilled and what a special touch they have. Prices are very reasonable, too!

Had such a great experience here today! I was able to drop off both my severely matted Persian cat and my Siberian Shiba dog with a very thick, cottony coat at the same time. We’ve always taken our Persian to the vet for a lion’s cut, which usually costs around $400 because they put her under anesthesia. That just wasn’t affordable right now, and her fur had gotten really bad. I honestly thought I might have to give her away because I couldn’t keep up with it. I called Fur and Feathers and asked if they could try shaving her despite how matted her fur was, knowing it might be difficult without anesthesia. And Christy did it! She even showed me the entire pelt that came off my cat. It was pretty wild to see, and even more amazing that she was able to shave her without anesthesia and without any nicks. My dog also looks so cute and sassy! She’s 10 years old, but I can already tell she’s feeling younger with all that extra fur gone. Best of all, I was able to get both of them groomed for $165, which is way cheaper than what we were paying before for just 1 animal. Christy is very nice, straightforward, and clearly very skilled at what she does. It’s such a relief knowing my cat can
