I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I brought my Pomeranian, Sophie, in for a bath because one of the main reasons I pay for professional grooming is to have her properly dried. I was told to come back in 45 minutes. When I returned, I was informed that they were unable to dry her because she was being aggressive and could bite. I completely understand that employee safety comes first, and I would never expect anyone to put themselves at risk. However, I believe they should have called me as soon as they realized they could not complete the service, instead of waiting until I arrived and handing my dog back to me completely soaking wet. Sophie is a Pomeranian with a double coat, and I was not comfortable taking her home in that condition. I asked for a solution, and they only gave me a towel. I then had to go to the Pet Supermarket at the corner, where the staff kindly helped me dry her. I truly appreciate their kindness because they solved a problem they did not create. I paid $50, and in the end, I feel that all I received was a bath. If my dog was going to be returned to me soaking wet and I had to depend on another business to finish the job, I could have

I have always had wonderful experiences with another location of this company, so I booked this location expecting the same level of care. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of time. My 8 month old Golden Retriever gets groomed weekly at another location, where the staff absolutely loves him. He’s a happy, energetic puppy, which is exactly what you’d expect at his age. At this location, however, I was told they refused to bathe him because he was “too spazzy” and the groomer didn’t feel comfortable after he bumped his head on the tub while excited. To me, that reflects a lack of experience and confidence handling larger, energetic dogs rather than an issue with my puppy. What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of communication. No one called or texted to let me know that they had decided not to perform any services. Instead, my dog sat in a kennel the entire time until I returned, assuming he was being groomed. If a facility is unable or unwilling to handle a friendly, excited 8 month old Golden Retriever, that’s something customers should know before booking. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after two disappointing experiences, I feel compelled to share my concerns. As a local business owner myself, I understand that no company is perfect and that occasional mistakes happen. I also understand the importance of customer service, staff training, and delivering the service that a customer pays for. That perspective is exactly why I wanted to give Scenthound a second chance. Unfortunately, my experience only became more disappointing. I brought my Akita to Scenthound on two separate occasions for grooming services. Both times, my dog left smelling virtually the same as when he arrived, making me question whether the bathing service was performed thoroughly. My most recent visit on June 7, 2026, was even worse. I paid for a service that included brushing and blow-drying, yet my dog appeared to have been neither properly brushed nor properly dried. His coat was still rough, tangled in areas, and lacked the appearance of a dog that had just received professional grooming services. Where do I even start. I had a 9:15 appointment this morning for a full grooming. I arrived right before my appointment, and the receptionist told me it was only scheduled for a nail trim and basic services. I let them know that wasn’t correct. I had come in the week before to confirm, and they told me it was a full grooming at 9:15. The receptionist then said they had confirmed the appointment with me the day prior, which is not true. I never received any call or message confirming services. The only confirmation I had was when I physically walked in the week before and was told it was a full grooming. They then said they didn’t have time for a full grooming and asked me to come back at 12:30. I adjusted my day, came back, and dropped my dog off. When they messaged that he was ready, I went to pick him up and he was only half groomed. His body was shaved, but his face was completely untouched. His paws weren’t trimmed, his tail wasn’t done, and overall he looks completely unfinished. He even has bald patches all over his body. I am editing my previous review of this place. I have been taking my 2 large dogs here once a month for the last 4 months. The first 2 visits were great! Customer service was great, they went over everything with us every time we picked the dogs back up. They smelled clean and their nails looked great! I wish I could say it stayed that way. It seems that they switched staff around after that. Because the last 2 times we’ve gone, there is a new manager named Brett there instead of the usual people we’ve interacted with. Since then, things have been absolutely horrible to the point that I am canceling our subscription with scenthound and will be taking my business elsewhere. The dogs still smelled horrible when we picked them up, their ears and teeth still dirty, and the nails weren’t even cut even though I also paid extra for a nail grind. And the dogs weren’t even towel dried. They were DRIPPING WET with water all over the lobby. So much in fact that my sister slipped in the water and fell. The next time we brought them in we specifically spoke to the manager Brett and voiced our concerns. He told us that wouldn’t happen again and apologized. Well guess what… we come back to get th
