Did 6 private sessions with Alex and my dog Tommy. There is a very noticeable difference in his overall demeanor and anxiety level. My family and friends have all commented on the improvements. Alex knows what he is doing. I recommend private sessions. It's not just the dog being trained it is you as well. It gives you a better understanding of how to have a relationship with your dog.

The best place I could’ve ever brought my dog. Prior to training here, my severely leash reactive standard poodle, Melvin and I had been through several different trainers with no progress after months with each. His reactivity had gotten to a point where we could no longer safely go on walks or be around dogs in any capacity. After coming across Riverview Bark, we had a consultation where Melvin was evaluated for a training program that would best suit his goals. Throughout the six week day train, Alex, Crissy, and the team were communicative about Melvin’s daily progress and always willing to answer questions or concerns I had at any time. The weekly private sessions were also really helpful in increasing my confidence as a handler. Melvin finished his program a much calmer, more confident dog and now regularly enjoys playing with the other dogs at Riverview Bark. Our walks have become a much calmer activity for both of us and I feel completely equipped to deal with any situation that might present itself. Overall Riverview has been a life changing spot for us with some really rad, caring people. Can’t recommend enough! 🐩🌈💙🐾

I brought my pitbull Chance to Riverview Bark Training and I’m really happy with the experience. The Alex and the other trainers were great with him and took the time to understand his personality and the areas where he needed help. They were patient, professional, and gave me the tools to better communicate with Chance and continue working with him at home. I’ve already seen a lot of improvement, and I feel more confident handling him because of the training we received. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. I would definitely recommend Riverview Bark Training to anyone looking for a trainer who actually takes the time to help both the dog and the owner.

If you are looking for dog training look no further. Sigmund, a border collie recently completed the six week board and train. He came back a different dog. Prior to this training he struggled with reactivity, pulling during walks, and regulating his emotions. The techniques Alex used resulted in Sigmund's quality of life drastically improving. He is able to walk amongst crowds, maintain a calm demeanor, and still display his personality that we love in productive ways. The results are better than we could have ever expected. Alex also takes time to teach dog owners how to properly care for their dogs. Between video sessions, questions answered, and time spent training together before taking Sigmund home, I learned so much about Sigmund's needs. Now, a week later, we are seeing the results of Sigmund's training and recognizing the value this will add to not only our, but Sigmund's life over the next decade. Thank you so much!!!

We’re forever grateful to Alex and the Riverview Bark team!! This has truly been life-changing for us and for our border collie, Nala. Before, Nala had a really hard time calming herself, and walks were honestly a nightmare. Her reactivity to everything outside made it pretty frustrating. But during the training and onboarding, Alex took the time to really understand Nala, her signs, her triggers, and built a personalized plan that helped her gain confidence, trust people, and actually enjoy being outside. He also made sure to guide us through everything and transition the training to us as her handlers… and honestly, we probably needed more training than Nala did 😅 We’ve learned that structure, discipline, and love are the keys to a happy, balanced dog 🫶🏻
