Edit: I wanted to see the best in premier since I’ve been taking my dog for so long, but I can’t in good conscience recommend them anymore! There’s once again been a change in their groomers, with zero communication to customers. This is maybe the 4th-5th time this has happened in the last year. At some point, you have to look at the common denominator, and ownership seems to be unable to retain their (good) employees. Sad to say it, but will not be returning and I do not recommend it to any new customers. Grooming is part of a dog’s health care (at least for poodles) and it’s essential to have continuity and reliability—and at the very least communication in the absence of these. I’ve been taking my standard poodle to premier pet services for almost two years now! He’s had three groomers: Bella, Cleu, and currently Sekou. They’ve all been great for different reasons! Sekou does the best top-knots I’ve ever seen, highly recommend him (photos from his latest groom)! The business is currently going through some changes that they’re navigating, and I think some recent reviews have been harsh as a result. Chicken Parmigiana (Kenny) has been coming here for going on two years. The first year, we had a regular groomer who consistently gave a great cut and was so good with our dog. She was always pleasant and communicative. Since then, Kenny has had a different groomer every time. It’s never a good feeling leaving your dog with someone you aren’t familiar without, especially without any notice. I really value a consistent groomer so I can trust the service and care of my dog. Unfortunately because of this, she’s had inconsistent hair cuts, this last one seeming like barely anything was taken off. She’ll need to be groomed again in 3 weeks. I literally took her home and trimmed the areas that were too long. There was another time an area was shaved too close to the skin on her face and she was nicked. And I understand this happens sometimes, but to not be told, especially when blood was drawn, is careless. I’m surprised I came back after that. The long and short of it is, it’s hard to support a place and trust in the care of my dog when it can no longer retain staff. The only cash payment is annoying too.

I have a 10 lb dog, who acts like a 150 lb Rotti. I don't know how they do it, but they do. My Bella is a Havachu mix & is terrified of the bath & the sound of clippers. Some how they're able to groom Bella without any problems. They're kind & gentle with the experience of "how to handle" her! Bella looks absolutely adorable when we leave there. Great prices for what they have to do.

I WOULD GIVE A NEGATIVE SCORE IF I COULD! DID NOT LISTEN TO ANYTHING. I’m heartbroken after bringing my long-haired cat here. I showed clear photos and explained I only wanted her coat lightly trimmed to clean up sparse hairs, not shaved. My cat was not matted (I brush her regularly), and I wanted a proper sanitary clean, but even that was done uneven - the back area was left untrimmed while the ventral front was cut too short. The groomer, who didn’t speak much English, used clippers with a “long guard,” ran it down my cat’s back, and said it would only take a little off. It looked fine at first, I still showed her pics of what I didn’t t want to clarify in case it would look like that and she assured me it won’t. But when I picked her up, her beautiful coat was unevenly shaved, her tail looked rough and matted, she didn’t smell good and was shedding was too much. They just dried her and handed her to me unbrushed. There was absolutely no reason for such a drastic cut, and my clear instructions were ignored. Please be cautious bringing your pets here, especially long-haired cats.

Our boy Frankie is an anxious but friendly boy, Protective of his dads. The team at premier was very patient in getting him used to a new grooming salon in a new state, since we just moved. (Only his second grooming place since we adopted him 3 years ago). They made sure he was comfortable and less stressed. Bonus points that Mari texted me pictures of sample dog face cuts to align with what we wanted! I highly recommend the team at Premier!
