In Modesto, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in California, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 am–5 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Posh Paws Pet Salon at (209) 526-7297; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Modesto is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Modesto follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I keep coming back to this groomer because of the professionalism and kind staff. I brought in my dog as a walk-in nail trim and the staff accommodated us no problem, even though they seem to be full house and busy with the other grooming. They kept my dog calm and comfortable, handled with care through the whole process. As a dog owner I felt my fur baby was in good hands, you could tell the staff really cares about the animals and happy to be caring for them.

We have a difficult husky who had never been professionally groomed before and Tiffany and her staff were awesome with him. Tiffany got right on the floor with us in the lobby to trim his nails with me there and called me halfway through the service to give me an update and peace of mind. They accommodated his needs (kenneling & muzzling) to make sure all parties were safe throughout the whole process. We will 100% be returning!

Posh Paws Pet Salon is seriously the cutest little salon 🐾💖 The space is clean, welcoming, and you can tell they really care about the pets they work with. They always do such an amazing job—my baby comes out looking perfect every time! Highly recommend if you want your fur baby to be in good hands and come back looking adorable! 🐶✨

I have a Pyrenees/Healer mix that I got from a cat rescue. When I first brought him to posh paws they said he needed a lot of support desensitizing around water. The owner was great at giving instructions to begin the process. A few months later I am able to rinse him off after our adventures and he has become 100% accustomed to his grooming. I also really appreciate the open waiting area because he comes back exhausted and ready for a nap!

Our Shih Tzu goes in every 5-6 weeks for her grooming. They are very caring and do an amazing job. Schedule your appointments early as this is a very popular business. Grooming day for Sadie. When I pulled up to Posh Paws, our girl Sadie got very happy. She always gets greeted by all of the free roaming dogs. I highly recommend Posh Paws for your fur babies. Every 5 weeks our girl goes in. The dogs look so happy in there. Highly recommended Pet Salon.
