Petz R Us

I had to take my 3 month old kitten Carl, who was very sick here this weekend. We actually returned on Sunday bc he was not improving. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful. I am so grateful a place like this is available to people and their pets. They helped Carl and we are hopeful for a full recovery. Thank you again!

As soon as we arrived at the building, we immediately received assistance from the parking lot because our dog needed additional help getting in. They almost immediately triaged our dog and were very clear in explaining the process and defining whether we needed to take him to a hospital/seek further treatment. The vet quickly examined him and informed us that our dog could not be treated and that they needed the full hospital and we weren’t charged a single penny. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely come back again if our dog needed treatment again!

Petz R Us took excellent care of our little girl when she wasn't feeling well. The vet techs were efficient and kind and treated her like a little princess. Maida, our tech for the day, was helpful and took her time explaining everything in detail. Dr. Thomas was fantastic. We traveled from Gettysburg because it was an emergency, but we intend to bring her back in the future for everything else as well. It is worth the travel time for the care we received!

I visited Petz R Us for the first time on May 18, 2026, with my 16-year-old cat, Licorice. Though it was our first visit, the staff's warmth and professionalism stood out immediately. Sadly, the vet discovered that Licorice had a rare, untreatable condition, leaving me with the difficult but humane choice to say goodbye. The compassion and empathy shown by the entire team during such a painful moment was incredible. I am deeply grateful to them for bringing comfort to a very dark day.

Last Saturday my Izzy was acting weird. So I took her to an emergency hospital near me... long story short she needed surgery and this place closed at 3pm (thanks for being listed as an emergency). They suggested Petz R Us. I called and the vet was able to look at Izzys record and said they would do surgery. Drove from one emergency vet to the other. They were so nice and helpful. This was out patient surgery. After they were done, I took Izzy home and kept a close eye on her all night and the next day I took her back to them for the scheduled appointment. They had her the entire day, working on meds and fluids. Less than a week after the surgery, my little baby is looking awesome and doing very well. Focused on keeping her warm and in a calm place. And giving her meds like every 8hrs. I am extremely grateful and beyond happy with the outcome! I believe it was a good thing they other placed couldn't do it. I am not sure what the average pricing for stuff like this is, but they do give you an estimate and I thought it was reasonable l, because the other place I thought I would have paid double that. I love my Izzy ❤️ I would recommend them to anyone, but what I found out from all th
