My child and I went to get some dog food from here since we were closer to our home and I didn't want to go to our regular place which is on the other side of town. She wanted to look at the animals while we were in there. There were dead fish in ALOT of the tanks. When I told the associate he said it happens and shrugged his shoulders. He asked if I needed some help though, but when I said no he bolted off. I understand animals die. What I don't understand is why between 8 to 12 dead goldfish are in one tank and they hadn't been removed. In another tank, some of the fish were actually eating a dead fish at the bottom of the tank. We get to the counter to pay for the dogfood packets so I mentioned it to the cashier. She stated they've "been busy" and hadn't had time to clean it. All I'm saying is if they're not cleaning the dead fish from the top, how are the fish being fed? Also, I dont know if they should be selling animals if they don't get the care they deserve. This is my first time being here literally in 7 or 8 years. I won't ever be back. My baby talked about "saving the fish" all day because "they're sad and need." Ya'll are wrong as hell.

I’ve been coming to this PetSmart for many years, and I’ve always loved visiting. The store is big, with so many supplies and so many different animals to see birds, fish, guinea pigs, reptiles, and cats. Every time I come in, I want to take them all home. Recently, I was thinking about adopting a cat here, but after spending some time in the adoption area, I left with a very heavy heart. I know space is limited, but seeing the cats in small cages in that little room was tough. The smell wasn’t great, and the feeling in there was just sad. Three tiny kittens were crammed together in one cage, all climbing over each other for attention. They were so full of life, and I almost cried because all they wanted was love and cuddles. An older cat sat alone, howling until I went to comfort her she just needed someone to care. Then there was another cat who looked sick his eye seemed infected, his ear was torn, and he just looked miserable. It absolutely broke my heart. Every single one of those cats deserves a safe and loving home, and I wish I could give them that. But as a parent, I can’t risk bringing home a cat that might already be unwell. Walking away was one of the hardest things

PetSmart is my go-to store for all of my pet’s needs. They always have a wide selection of toys, treats, and food brands to choose from. The employees are super helpful—one even walked me through the different harness sizes to find the perfect fit. The store is clean, organized, and it’s clear they really care about pets here. I took my golden retriever to PetSmart for his first grooming appointment, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The groomer was patient, friendly, and made sure Cooper felt comfortable the entire time. His coat came out shiny, soft, and he smelled amazing. The staff even gave me tips for at-home care. I’ll definitely be bringing him back regularly

Will not be returning to Asterin for grooming. We’ve been using PetSmart for a while and have always had positive experiences. Sadly, after her appointment today, her coat has clear clipper marks, the cuts along her head and legs are uneven, and her ears look like a child took scissors to them. Again, other groomers have done a fantastic job, so will schedule with someone else moving forward.
