If I could give negative numbers I’d do it. Have been excitedly going in on Wednesday and Thursdays for 3 weeks watching for a new reptile buddy and have been met with rude condescending attitude. When I ask if any have arrived after seeing the new companion arriving soon signs still on the front I get “I’m the fish guy” and “WE find out when they get to the store” when asked if anyone else might know. 3rd time this has happened. Wandered around for 10 minutes looking for an associate prior to asking. Found no one. 1 cashier and 7-8 people in line. Cancelled my petco perks premier plans (2) and will now go out of my way to petsmart.

The cashier was friendly and helpful. But the real joy was in a customer in the cat section where I was looking for new toys for my cat. He recommended a simple wire toy with little pieces of cardboard on it. She usually gets bored with a toy quickly, but so far she really goes after this one. I think it is a good reflection on the store that even the customers are helpful.

The staff at this store is great. I recently went in to purchase my regular fancy feast cat food. It took forever to find from its regular spot. It had been planogrammed back into a dark corner of the store and set on very narrow shelving. The older spot had better lighting so I did not have to struggle to see the color of the cans (which indicate if it is paté and what flavor). This is important for those of us with picky cats. Add to the lighting issue, the narrow shelving makes it difficult to grab the cans off the shelf. You have to pull an entire tray/sleeve off the shelf to grab a can because the narrowness of the shelf does not leave enough room to just grab it out of the box. It is a shame this very popular brand of cat food has been relegated to the darkest corner of the store with the least accessible shelving, so some boutique trendy brand i won't ever buy can take its place. It was annoying enough I might just go out of my way to shop at petsmart in Lacey instead. Please reconsider putting fancy feast on better shelving with better lighting.

Very friendly and super animal homing oriented. They want to make sure that the animals theyre selling are going to good homes with proper setups.

Very grateful 🥰 for a friendly staff. Wonderful experience shopping 😁. Went to take my little man exchange some fish for his tank. Was expecting problems as I did not have a receipt but they looked up by phone number and we worked everything out. My little man even got two new minion buddies for his tank. 🙏 We get all out fish and pet stuff from here. Thanks 🙏
