Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lancaster follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is autumn! Thank you to the handler suggesting her to us she is such a sweetheart and very playful and she knows how to be gentle with the kids. The adoption process was super easy and everyone was super friendly!

We adopted the cutest dog at the end of March and were extremely pleased with our experience. I had browsed their website prior & had 3 possible matches in mind, but no appointment is needed and you may stop in and actually see the dogs. One of the dogs I liked was adopted the previous day and another was being adopted as we got there. But we were ok with that, because the dog I wanted most was still there. Her name was Sappho. We changed immediately to Sadie. She is a mix breed with a coat as soft as a chinchilla. We brought our old dog to meet her (a shelter requirement that we would have insisted on anyway), and they got along fine. 3 weeks in and everything has been going great. Very happy with our whole adoption experience

Good people, helpful and patient. My only complaint is that they don't allow you to see animals if the entire family isn't there. (Dogs you own must be brought to meet the new dog before finalizing the adoption) My stepdad works hard and doesn't want to browse dogs, he wants us to only bring him if we have one picked as an adoption candidate. They don't do that.

We took Hamilton home Friday at dinner time. He settled right in. He plays with us and his toys. Saturday noon he scooted out the door when my husband went for the mail. He ran down the hill across the tracks and into the neighbors field. It was 7 degrees. After searching for 45 minutes we came home to find him waiting in the front yard. Since then all he wants is cuddles. We already love him more than we can say. So glad we chose to adopt here. Your staff was wonderful. You should give them name pins so we could thank them personally

Our adoption experience here was great! Email communication was fast and helpful. Our in-person visit was friendly and not at all rushed. It was clear that this center had done a lot for our pup since she got there. Now that she's home with us, the staff contacts us regularly to see how she's doing. And she's doing really well! She's a sweetheart.
